There has been huge backlash on social media as Tamworth reveal ticket prices for the FA Cup Third Round match vs Tottenham next month.
Ticket prices are as high as £42, for adults in the main stand, to watch the cup tie, which will also be shown live on ITV1 at 12:30pm on Sunday the 12th of January 2025.
The pricing hasn’t gone down well with fans, with many saying while they understand Tamworth have to take advantage of this financial gain being at home against Tottenham in the FA Cup, the price hike is too extreme.

As mentioned, there was huge backlash as Tamworth reveal the ticket prices for the FA Cup Third Round match vs Tottenham…
@Stevenwblake1: Nice to see Tamworth have rewarded their fans after Christmas by keeping the prices low for the Fa cup match…. oh wait.. This is really shocking from @tamworthfc
@CallumHallett6: You greedy, robbing bastards. Talk about pricing your own fans out… the people who deserve to watch their team take on one of the English giants at home. A family of 4 would have to pay well over £100 to watch that! Disgraceful for Tamworth.
@GeorgeHogg93: Oh my word. Tamworth have shot themselves in the foot, big time. You charge them prices for one of the biggest games in your clubs history! Disgraceful #tamworth 🐑
@Aldonn_: 71 quid for a Dad and his kid to watch 5th tier Tamworth in the FA cup. The games so far gone it’s on Mars.
@Dave_Hughes: Outrageous inflation of ticket prices! Shame on you Tamworth.
@zece7: £42 for folks that put their hard earned money in the club. Wow 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
@IOS1922: Just hope the fans that turn up every week get the tickets they deserve.
@LSwallow74: Slap in the face for the proper Tamworth fans who turn up week in, week out
@JackToulson12: You’d like to think Tamworth would’ve used this fixture as an attempt to encourage locals to watch them beyond this fixture. At these prices I doubt that’ll happen
@MarkCFC2021: Wow, just wow at those prices!! 🤯
@rickard_louie: Absolutely disgusting prices.
@Darlo_Robbo: Feel sorry for the away fans who can’t even see the nearest goal line. Paying £42 for that!
@ronaldobcfc: Blimey I know lower league clubs need to cash in, when they can, but that’s scandalous prices.
@TheDB30: Abysmal prices. A lot of people that watch teams like Tamworth are disillusioned and priced out former Premier League match goers. The ones I feel most for are those that will have gone to the likes of St Ives, Barwell and Alvechurch which was only 2-3 years ago.
@darrell_ben: £42 to go and watch Tamworth against not even a Top 10 prem side. Daylight robbery 😂😂😂
@J_Phillips1994: The Magic of the Cup, ey? A real opportunity for Tamworth to attract more fans to the ground and grow their fan base. But £37 for an Over 66 and £34 for an Under 17? Happy New Year.
@Pu55yman_Dan: £42 bloody hell more expensive than my wife’s daily food bill she’s fat and all she’s done this Christmas is eat & fart These prices are horrible sort it out. Stop pricing out working class fans
@Dave_Hughes: Absolute disgrace. Your fans have supported you faithfully and you repay them with these prices.
@IOS1922: Just hope the fans that turn up every week get the tickets they deserve.
@hopwas2010: Wow, just wow. What scandalous prices. That will certainly dampen the mood and what happened to the once proud family club.
@Feeney1992x: Cheeky robbing bastards 🤣🤣🤣
@mikebaldwin812: That’s a disgrace of a ticket price 😂
@mercianstweets: That money best be going back into the club, about a thousand things around th ground that could be updated and improved, if those prices are the way then we need to see those improvements along the next two years
@TrailOfDebt: Merry fucking Christmas.
@hopwas2010: Wow, just wow. What scandalous prices. That will certainly dampen the mood and what happened to the once proud family club.
@gjp12775: You’ve dropped a bollock here, Tamworth.
@george_barber01: A sensational PR own goal!
@UnitedFansMUFC: That’s abysmal by the club tbh, a chance to get ppl in that may then want to become regulars & boost attendances yet they’ve priced a lot of ppl out of it now & this is more likely to cost them fans than gain them!
@andymortby: Disgusting prices
@mercianstweets: That money best be going back into the club, about a thousand things around th ground that could be updated and improved, if those prices are the way then we need to see those improvements along the next two years
@Chapmann_x: £42 for adult and £29 for u10’s to go watch Tamworth… hang your head in shame charging that 🤮
Thoughts with regular match goers, and in particular families just after Christmas and with this pricing. Awful
Enjoyed my trip to Tamworth with BUFC last season and looking forward to returning in a few weeks – but this sours the goodwill and support from wider football. Grim pic.twitter.com/ZTRlNQ3An8

At least you’re keeping your prices the same and not ripping off your own season ticket holders
Shameful when you’re getting TV money plus cup money too.
Charging more than any championship club is charging for league games including all fees. Very poor pic.twitter.com/GrNFv7SG5a
