Since discovering that Sky Sports would be showing every midweek Championship match on the red button to fans, many have approved of the news…
I like what @SkySports have done with the championship where you can watch any game on the red button but they need to stop investing in the Chinese and American League and do the same thing with league 1 and 2 #pusb

Loving the @SkySports option now where you can watch every championship game in the midweek via the red button. Looking forward to Sheffield Weds v Millwall this week ??

However some are worried about how much of an impact it will have on the attendances…
Just seen that all Championship midweek games are now live on Sky Red Button. That will surely kill midweek attendances – another victory for the armchair fan ?

It’s gonna kill midweek attendances tho

This red button midweek stuff. Looks good but it will affect Championship attendances especially away sides. Obviously a trial for the PL in future. Reports already show PL teams would make a huge profit even with 0 fans in the ground. L/T plan to sell tv season tickets I reckon.

Unbelievable that all midweek games in the football league will be shown via the red button on sky (match choice) it can only mean poor attendances through the gates both Home and Away support , great for those working away supporters mind !!
