Hartlepool player wanted by several Premier League and EFL clubs

17 year old Hartlepool United player Harrison Webster is reportedly wanted by several clubs from the Premier League and EFL.

The young defender has impressed at a youth level over the years and his form has caught the eye of top flight sides Wolves and Burnley along with second tier clubs Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and Bristol City as well as third division Sunderland.

He is out of contract in the summer but his National League side are keen to keep hold of him, though recognise that they face a real battle and the likelihood is that he will leave in the coming months.

Wolves have previously shown a strong interest in Webster and he has even trained with the Europa League side but no deal could be reached.

The left-footer also had a brief spell at Thorp Arch with Leeds but again it didn’t result in a formal offer at the time. They remain ‘big fans’ however according to teamTALK.

As you can tell, there will be quite a battle for the Hartlepool player wanted by several Premier League and EFL clubs. Will he leave or will he stay?

The West Yorkshire side were also credited with interest in talented defender Luca Murphy back in March 2019, however so was Fulham, and that’s where he ended up heading to in a two year deal.

That lad has since impressed in their youth team, making the jump from Under-18s to Under-23s under the mentoring of Colin Omogbehin.

Fulham says that Murphy possesses excellent control and poise for such a tender age.
