A group of Everton fans allegedly throw coins, spit and then offer to fight Southampton fans, with a video since emerging.
It is said to have taken place after the game, with Everton’s Beto having a 94th minute goal disallowed late on, meaning Southampton took all three points thanks to Adam Armstrong in scored in the 85th minute.
@Kebble__ tweeted: “everton fans classy as ever, throwing coins at little kids and spitting after the loss. #PremierLeague #everton”
He added: “all up for the banter on a matchday mate, its what makes it fun, but when the fans start pelting coins into the family stand and spitting on people, i think a line has been crossed. to even condone this behaviour tells me what type of fan you are”
The clip has gone on to be viewed over 400,000 times and nearly 1,000 likes (at the the time writing)…
