A ‘Glazers Out’ protest was held during Bolton’s 8-1 win against Man Utd under 21s in the EFL Trophy Group stage in Tuesday night.
The fixture took place just 17 miles away from the first team in action at Old Trafford, breezing past Crystal Palace with a 3-0 win in the Carabao Cup Third Round to make the Fourth Round.
But instead of turning up to the game at the Premier League outfit, they instead turned up in the away end at the Toughsheet Community Stadium to witness United’s under 21s getting thrashed and Bolton earn their biggest competitive victory in 40 years.
The away end saw anti-Glazer banners and sang chants in the concourse of the ground, as can be seen in the video below…

Tonight we went to support the U21’s at Bolton.
Message is always the same at any level.
Nothing changes until they are gone.
They need to go.

Dan Nlundulu opened the scoring on the 19 minute following Josh Sheehan’s pass, and the latter went on to make it 2-0 three minutes later after some one-two with Jon Dadi Bodvarsson.
Another quickfire double made it 4-0 by half time, Sheehan getting his second sending the ball into the top corner from the edge of the box on 38 minutes, and then Gethin Jones made it 4-0 four minutes before half time.
Nlundulu hit home the fifth on 48 minutes, then Bodvarsson made it 6-0 having been played through by Will Forrester.
There was at least something for the away fans to celebrate, with Omari Forson getting a consolation goal, then Nelson Khumbeni and Luke Matheson got their first goals for Bolton as the game came to a close.
This was the first time the Trotters had scored eight since a match in Division Three against Walsall in September 1983.

Here’s how fans reacted with a ‘Glazers Out’ protest held during Bolton’s 8-1 win against Man Utd under 21s…
@Matt_Pinner: This will be the final straw for the Glazers I think
@dancity109: That’ll show ‘em lads! 👏👏 Meanwhile just 5 minutes down the road the OT megastore is full of people handing over their money to the glazers at literally the same time.
@DanUnited4: Nice one lads 🇾🇪🇾🇪 #GlazersOut
@kelliesheros: Dedication 👏👏 #GlazersOut
@T0M996: Must be really hard having an owner throw shit loads of money into the club
@glazersRnonces: We won’t be great again until they are gone. It really is the simple ! #GlazersOut #GlazersAreVermin
@JakebwfcHurst: Someone let them know the first team were at home????
@kianb_: In the concourse of an u21 game while the first team are in action at home, the mind boggles 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@exile_1991: Imagine being one of the most successful clubs in the world, who have spent £1bn in recent years and complaining about your owners infront of a club like Bolton 😂 They have no understanding of a bad owner.
@slipper_luke: Must be so hard having HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of pounds spending on your club
@N5Rick: Fucking embarrassing, your owners back you constantly, but apparently its a maze and other clubs won’t understand it? You invest a billion+ in a club and get fuck all back – why should you spend? Lol, dead end club.
@jimmybjames: This spells the end for the Glazers. How they can go on after this is beyond me.
@jack_walker19: The Glazers continue to pump a hundred million into the squad every summer yet they’re always the ones getting called out 😂 granted Old Trafford’s falling down but come on man
