Gateshead’s new unique kits for the 2020/21 season go viral, with the home kit much more loved than the away kit it has to be said.
It’s that time of year when shirts for the next campaign start to get revealed, and it’s guaranteed to cause some chatter on social media.
The National League North club are the latest team to do some kit unveiling, and they still have the divisional playoffs to contest yet.

The Heed Army finished the season in 8th place, however after the decision was made to base the final standings by PPG, they ended up 7th and qualifying for the playoffs, replacing Spennymoor.
They said via their website: “Gateshead Football Club are delighted to unveil our new home and away kits for the 2020/21 season.
“We’ve extended our partnership with world-renowned manufacturers Puma into a second season to ensure supporters can purchase bespoke kits of the highest quality.”
The non league side continued: “Our 2020/21 home kit bears a sleek halved black and white design which offers a call-back to the 1990’s, updated for the modern era.
“History also plays a significant part in our new away kit, with a bold retro design set to sport the club’s original claret and blue home colours away from the International Stadium for the 2020/21 season.
“Shirts are available via pre-sale from 6pm tonight, with sizes ranging from ages five to 14 for children at £34, while adult sizes range from small to 4XL at £38.
“Purchases are currently set to be delivered by the end of August, and those who selected either our new home or away shirt as a budget booster reward will be the first to receive theirs.
