Galatasaray fans set off a huge fireworks display ‘outside hotel Liverpool are staying at’ the night before the Champions League clash.
The incredible display lit up the skies of Istanbul, with videos posted on social media around 3.55am local time on Tuesday.
Hundreds of fireworks were lit by a large group of fans in the street, with chants and songs sung in an attempt to create as much noise as possible to try and unsettle Liverpool before the game at RAMS Park, kicking off at 10 p.m. local time (GMT+3).
Galatasaray supporters, known for their passionate and intimidating atmosphere, and their team, led by Ozan Burak, are in strong form, having won all seven league games this season.

Liverpool boss Arne Slot said in Monday’s press conference: “If you want to compete for trophies, let alone if you wear a Liverpool shirt, (you must) give everything you have, and combine that with the best football you can play.
“They are a very, very good team and have a very good manager.
“The 5-1 defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt was either the quality of Frankfurt, or a little bit of bad luck for Galatasaray.
“They know what it takes to win the league and know what it takes to win a game of football, so we have to be prepared for that.
“Gio (Giovanni van Bronckhorst) is one of my assistant coaches so he is part of the set-up if we discuss or talk about the team we face, if that is Palace or Everton or Atletico Madrid or, in this situation, Galatasaray.
“He has knowledge about Turkish football, he knows these players.
“We knew Galatasaray were also strong on set-pieces, but I can tell you we won our last Champions League game because of a set-piece,” he said of Virgil Van Dijk’s late winner over Atletico.
Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk has urged his team not to show any fear: “It’s important not to show fear, to show this unity, and to think the same way when we have the ball and when the opponent has the ball.
“They’re especially good with the ball, but they’re incredibly quick in transition. We’ll consider all of this, as well as our opponent’s attacking strengths, and take precautions against them.
“We’ll give it our all and try to put the opponent in a difficult situation. Judging by Liverpool’s performance against Crystal Palace, the first half might have ended 5-0. But they’re not really that kind of team.
“Players can play poorly, there can be bad matches, bad plans, and there can be moments where the opponent is better. So, instead of focusing on players, we need to look at the team. Galatasaray needs to clearly demonstrate its identity starting tomorrow. That’s why I have expectations not from one player, but from all players.”
He added: “As a midfielder, I scored a goal from long range against Liverpool. We’re expecting that goal from Mario (Lemina).
“Jokes aside, Galatasaray has played some truly great matches. I’ve been a part of many of them, and I’ve been a part of some significant successes.
“Now, as a manager, I want to contribute to these successes with my players. The atmosphere and environment we create, together with our fans, is crucial. We really need to show that passion.
“Crystal Palace and Newcastle United were incredibly passionate in their matches against Liverpool. So, we need to show that passion on the pitch. Then, I think the goals will come.”
