Frustrated West Brom fans have take to social media to slam Coventry’s away ticket prices for the trip to the CBS Arena.
Coventry City has priced adult tickets at £37, a figure that has drawn sharp criticism from Albion supporters.
The game is a Monday night Championship fixture scheduled for April 7th, 2025, and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
This pricing has sparked outrage, particularly as West Brom had reportedly requested Coventry to lower the cost—pointing out that their own fans paid a maximum of £30 for the reverse fixture at The Hawthorns earlier in the season – but Coventry declined the request.
£37 for Coventry away?! 😳
I understand #WBA asked Cov to lower their prices, as their supporters paid a max of £30 for the game at the Hawthorns earlier this season… but the Sky Blues declined the request. https://t.co/hBg0zPLC67

As mentioned, frustrated fans, including though of West Brom slam Coventry’s away ticket prices for the trip to the CBS Arena…
@wbarenno: £37 for Coventry and £25 for under 18’s 😯😯😯 £62 plus booking fees for me and my daughter 😯😯 ridiculous pricing
@DexWBA__: Coventry are robbing bastards. Clubs shouldn’t be able to get away with charging so much. I personally cant justify paying that. #wba
@kidreamspurple: Cov are robbing bastards £37 for an adult and £25 for under 18’s. What a joke 😂
@Sam_JH12: There really needs to be a spend cap on away tickets in the Championship, £37 for a ticket at Coventry is extortionate
@StuartHall2611: #CoventryCity charging £37 for away fans. Cunt club. Can’t wait to beat them in the play off final. Albion have even asked them to lower it but #CCFC said no
@AshesVictory: Absolute disgrace. Fuck knows who Cov think they are but I’ll be giving it a miss.
@danwba_: £32 at Cov for an 18 year old what the fuck
@baggiedave70: Why are Coventry charging us those prices when other clubs are charged £30 adults, £18 juniors?
@LiamRobertoooo: Robbing bastards Cov £37 for a ticket is outrageous behaviour
@kieran_unitt: For what it would cost to take my 5 year old daughter to Coventry away, I could buy her a season ticket at the Albion for next year. Outrageous #wba
@HolWBA: Was considering Cov away to potentially take my son to a first away game… wow, don’t think I’ll bother for that price. Shame on Cov!
@rjdowning: Would it be possible to get Doug King on the phone in to explain his rip off prices
@KipreSun: As someone who’s spent most of their adult life living in Coventry. Nothing is worth £37 pound there
@b1_simpson: Disgusting that their fans paid less to attend the game at the Hawthorns & that Coventry haven’t matched the same pricing for the return fixture. Pure greed & exploitation of fans.
@rickyleegriffi2: Been to cov last 2 seasons. Fuck that for 30 quid #WBA
@jk_3502: Those Coventry prices are an utter disgrace. Would’ve been a no brainer but seriously considering not going now.
@EvWba: Bastards ain’t they, they know we will probably sell out no matter the price.
@mikeyp2551: Probably because they know that we will sell out as it isn’t far and on Good Friday. Still not right though
@jiggybulko: For the record, Cov fans don’t agree with this pricing at all. Especially £25 for kids, clubs should be in agreement pre season, and match pricing accordingly for home and away games for both clubs.
@tagz96CCFC: Honestly mate our prices take the piss. We’ve said numerous times about it too that the amount we charge is day light robbery.
@AlbionAmsterdam: Didn’t Coventry have outrageous pricing last season too?
@willburford11: It’s mad how Albion fans under the age of 18 can buy a whole season ticket at the Hawthorns for less than the price of going to Coventry away #WBA #CCFC disgusting prices
£37 for second tier.
10-18€ at nantes and a much better matchday experience
When will fans actually protest prices? Never https://t.co/V0UURGAHQd pic.twitter.com/SFoRDf51bG
