Footage emerges of Leeds fans hilariously trolling Plymouth supporters with cheeky chants

Footage emerges of Leeds fans hilariously trolling Plymouth supporters with a number of cheeky chants throughout the game.

The Elland Road faithful had it in for one Argyle fan, as he was the subject of chants over his choice of fashion for the Championship fixture.

The supporter not only watched his side lose 2-1 to third place Leeds, but his decision to wear a grey cardigan and wide-legged beige chino ensemble didn’t go down well with the home fans.

The following chants were heard in the 2 minute video below…

– “Take your chinos and fuck off home”

– “Gone chino shopping, you should have gone chino shopping”

– “It’s a long way to Plymouth, long way to Plymouth with chinos”

– “She said no chinos, she said no”

– “No chinos party”

– “Chinos barmy army”

– “You sit down away”

The game saw Dan James and Joel Piroe score to help Daniel Farke’s side to another win.

Steven Schumacher’s Plymouth did manage to give a late scare, having grown into it after the break, and netted a late consolation through substitute Ben Waine, with Farke praising Argyle come the full time whistle.

Leeds: Meslier (GK), Ampadu, Cooper (C), Piroe (Bamford 91’), Kamara, Summerville (Anthony 78’), Rodon, James (Gnoto 78’), Gray, Georgino (Gruev 91’), Byram (Firpo 53’).

Subs not used: Darlow (GK), Ayling, Cresswell, Poveda.

Argyle: Cooper (GK), Mumba, Houghton (C) (Butcher 80’), Pleguezuelo (Waine 57’), Scarr, Whittaker, Gibson, Azaz (Issaka 74’), Randell (Edwards 57’), Cundle, Kesler- Hayden (Wright 74’).

Subs not used: Gillesphey,Butcher, Wright, Warrington, Hazard.

Venue: Elland Road

Referee: Josh Smith

Booked: Gruev (Leeds) Randell, Whittaker, Edwards, Gibson (Plymouth)

“When Daniel comes at the end of the game and says ‘you’re a top team and you pushed us all the way’, right now that’s okay but we want to start getting results at these places as well,” Steven Schumacher said, as per Yorkshire Evening Post.

Schumacher added: “For 20 minutes in the first half I thought we did OK. We limited Leeds to a few chances on goal.

“The only disappointing thing in the first half was the two errors in front of our own box.

Against a top team with quality players, we got punished.

“Second half obviously we were a bit better. We had nothing to lose with 25 minutes, half an hour to go. I am really pleased with the effort against a top team.”

Farke meanwhile said via Sky Sports: “I take the three points all day long. If you would have offered me a 2-1 win before the game, I would have taken it.

“It was an outstanding win at Leicester and the training week was too easy. I was waiting for a sucker punch.

“The result was perfect and obviously when you are so dominant like we were in the first half and the chances we had in the second half, if you don’t score the goals in the second half there is a good and brave opponent who plays with freedom and goes for it.

“Our defending was excellent, in the second half they had one chance and they scored a goal. I was pleased we didn’t allow them one more chance to score. We made our life more complicated that it should have been.”
