Photos and a video have emerged appearing to show Fleetwood Town boss Joey Barton’s stag party end with a punch-up.
Over the Bank Holiday weekend, he and his friends arrived in Newquay to celebrate his upcoming marriage, though it ended up with one of the former footballer’s friends decking three men.
As per The Sun, the holidaymaker stated: “It was extremely violent.
“It got out of control quickly. There were children watching and their parents hurriedly took them away.
“During a race, a lad from another group rugby tackled one of Joey’s mates — then it all kicked off.
“One man dressed all in black decked three of them.
“The fella didn’t start the trouble but threw punches and knew how to handle himself.”
Barton has ‘categorically’ denied any involvement in the incident which took place. Devon and Cornwall police say they have had no reports about the alleged incident.
There were also claims that one pub had kicked his party out for being too loud.
Another witness claimed that Barton ‘was good as gold’ and ‘very polite’ when recognised.
