Kevin Nolan is being linked with a return to the club he was sacked at in August, and he’s reportedly keen to.

He took charge of them in January 2017 and took them to the League Two playoffs last season. However, the manager was shown the door after they picked up one point in five league matches.

Social media have been quite divided on whether he should return as the Magpies boss.

Appleton was linked with the job backing in August. Once again made the favourite but interestingly, it’s reported that he visited the club, but said he wasn’t interested.

Also managed Portsmouth, Blackpool, Blackburn Rovers, Oxford United and has been caretaker and it current assistant manager of Leicester City.
