Favourites for Luton Town manager

We continue our look at the favourites for Luton manager…

3rd) STEPHEN ROBINSON

Former player of Luton (between 2002 and 2008), Stephen Robinson is currently manager of Motherwell. Last season, the ex-Oldham boss took them to two cup finals, losing to Celtic both times.

It has been stated that the Scottish club have not had an approach from Luton Town to speak to him. However he is not due back from Tenerife with Motherwell until Sunday.

His contract doesn’t end for another 16 months.

2nd) PAUL HURST

Hurst guided Shrewsbury Town to the Playoff Final in May, despite starting the season as favourites for relegation, alongside the final of the Checkatrade Trophy.

He left to join Ipswich in the summer but was sacked in October after taking them to the bottom of the Championship table.

1st) JOHNNIE JACKSON

Johnnie Jackson is currently an assistant manager to Lee Bowyer for 4th in League One Charlton Athletic.

He also had a playing career, making appearances for Tottenham, Swindon, Watford, Colchester, Notts County and a few others.
