Farnborough fans have took to slam the ‘shocking’ treatment from Hayes & Yeading with the FA urged to take action over what happened.
The decision was made to segregated the two sets of supporters, apparently stemming from the trouble that played out during the previous meeting, a playoff final.
Hayes and Yeading however are said to have not given any of the Farnborough fans any food, drink or toilet facilities in the FA Cup Second Qualifying Round replay on Tuesday night.
The game itself saw Farnborough come away with a 2-0 victory, having drawn the first cup match 1-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Farnborough broke the deadlock just two minutes in courtesy of Hisham Kasimu’s strike before the away side made it two emphatically with a great finish from Michael Fernandes doubling their lead and held on to set up a tie against Swindon Supermarine in the Third Qualifying Round.
However the main topic of conversation following the game saw Farnborough fans slam the ‘shocking’ treatment from Hayes & Yeading with the FA urged to take action, this is what everyone had to say…
@_archiegrant6: May I point out that in Saturday we have Hayes & Yeadings fans: Free roam of the stadium, access to two toilet facilities, access to the bar and access to three Food outlets/Vans. All of this with no problem whatsoever. In return we get stripped of basic human rights and treated as zoo animals: no food, no water, a toilet block that had no lights and abuse from stewards. The very people their to protect us. It’s abismal and Hayes & Yeading United Should be ashamed of themselves
@PaulSampson55: Absolutely shocking behaviour by H&Y after the way they were treated at Farnborough on Saturday, to no refreshments available to Farnborough fans is disgraceful. Don’t get me started on the quality of their stewards they should be ashamed of themselves.
@FFTV100: Tin pot , still smarting after we beat them in play off final
@IanHugh15450914: karma for Farnborough causing havoc in the play off final
@bearmanfield8: Havoc? It was your lads chucking bottles from the stands and giving it large. Delighted we don’t have to play at your tinpot ground anymore all that Ted Lasso money and even afford a decent fence.
@Harryduke123: Shocking
@Mark_Pie: @HYUFC_Official Joke of a club, just because you lost to us in the Playoff Final a few months back. Segregating a game and then not offering basic facilities as you are meant to is disgusting. So glad to see the back of you!
@_archiegrant6: The FA absolutely should be in touch. Treated like zoo animals tonight it was a disgrace. At least they got battered
@Mark_Pie: Horrible LITTLE club, surely they can not operate like that and offer none of these services for a match that is segregated!?
@LukeyFFC: Im sure the FA will have something to say if it went that far 👀
@Craig_r_Dugmore: They are a pathetic little club. Absolute shambles.
@AlanOstler1481: WTAF!!!!! No toilets!!! Surely that goes against basic human rights!!!
@tryan255: Hayes gonna get fined for this defo scummy little club
@RebirthOfAlter: “Hospitality”
@owen__sfc: they gave us no food or drinks, im certainly not thanking them 🤷♂️
@JackMcLexn: don’t quite think you can call it hospitality they didn’t serve any drinks or food and didn’t even give us a toilet 🤣🤣
@chris_grannell: Hospitality your having a laugh 😂 … Shambles
@ChivertonLaura: Absolute levels of pettiness 🤣
@JackMcLexn: @HYUFC_Official have turned their comments off, provided us fans with no food, drink or toilets, and still has the audacity to say they hope we enjoyed their hospitality, that broke the last time we went there may i add.
Enjoyed the hospitality isn’t really the tweet we should be putting out… https://t.co/2LrmoekZRn
