Over 300,000 fans vote on how the Premier League season should end, in a poll conducted by Sky Sports across the whole of Sunday.
As we all know, the current campaign is postponed until April the 4th at the earliest due to the coronavirus worldwide pandemic.
As of Monday the 16th of March, there is currently no protocol for the Premier League to follow in this situation and many have been speculating how the league will be decided.
The results of the poll found that 52% wanted the season to be ‘null and void’, whilst 27% of fans chose ‘current table is final’ and 21% went for ‘LFC’s title/no relegation’.
?VOTE!?If the Premier League season can’t be completed, what should happen? ??

One user tried to justify the season being written off: “Obviously null and void. It’s the only mathematically fair way. Liverpool haven’t won mathematically and those in the drop zone haven’t mathematically been relegated.”
Another argued for that not to happen: “To all those opting for Null and void, shame on you. We’re not talking of a 3, 6, 10 or 15 point lead here. The Premier League Season MUST continue, even if we have to wait till July.”
If you haven’t see it already, Karren Brady put forward a controversial idea in her column for The Sun: “Suspension or cancellation of the league was always a certainty.
“There is no dodging the possibility that all levels in the EFL, as well as the Premier League, will have to be cancelled and this season declared null and void because if the players can’t play the games can’t go ahead.
“The PL hopes that an interlude of three weeks from today will enable it to restart but that may well be dreamland.
“So what if the league cannot be finished? As games in both the PL and in the EFL are affected, the only fair and reasonable thing to do is declare the whole season null and void.”
Whilst everyone continues to speculate, it is likely that Liverpool are awarded the title should the season be concluded early.
The Telegraph have reported that the Merseyside outfit are likely to be crowned champions no matter what as well as an interesting twist in terms of promotion.
The proposed plan is to promote current Championship top two of Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion and have next season be a 22 team league.
That would mean the 2020/2021 season would see five teams relegated from highest tier of English football.
What would you vote on how the Premier League season should end. Do you agree with the over 300,000 fans’ majority?
