Fans react to ‘downfall’ of Dele Alli pictured ‘doing balloons’ with laughing gas canisters

Fans react to ‘downfall’ of Dele Alli pictured ‘doing balloons’ with laughing gas canisters while with friends in Manchester.

The former England player, is doing the rounds online, holding a balloon to his mouth and close to laughing gas canisters, with social media users claiming to to be ‘smartwhips’.

It is legal to possess and use the gas, however it is illegal to supply according to current legislation and the government is planning to crack down on legal highs, also known as “hippy crack” or “laughing gas” and ban them completely as part of a new set of legislation that aims to demonstrate a more aggressive stance against crime.

The ban on nitrous dioxide is intended to protect youth and stop littering canisters at places where young people congregate.

Writing in the Mail, Mr Sunak said: ‘We’re going to take a zero-tolerance approach.

‘We’re going to put an end to groups of young people using nitrous oxide, so-called laughing gas, by banning it.

‘And we’re going to expand drug testing on arrest, to include drugs such as ecstasy and cannabis, as well as extending the range of situations that can trigger a drugs test in the first place.’

Alli endured a horrible season on the pitch after spending the year on loan from Turkish side Besiktas, where he has been booed at by his own fans.

The loan is due to expire in the summer and the midfielder has been sent back to Merseyside after sustaining a hip injury,.

Alli would’ve been ineligible to play for the Toffees again this season due to not being registered with their Premier League squad.

He’s been out of action on the pitch since the defeat to Antalyaspor on the 26th of February, he’s been out of action on the pitch.

After he recovers from his injury, Alli will evaluate his future with his Everton contract, which runs until June 2024, still having one year left on it.

He has had a difficult time out in Turkey, only playing in 13 games and scored two goals in the league.

Reports initially indicated that Besiktas manager Senol Gunes was unhappy with Alli, claiming the player had gone AWOL from training.

This came despite the fact that the player was allowed permission to attend a doctor’s appointment on that date.

Everton boss Sean Dyche recently spoke about Alli, who was named PFA Young Player Of The Year in 2016-17 and 2015-16 and had the world at his feet.

Dyche said:He is just getting some treatment and he is injured. He is under contract in a loan there.”

Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes said: “Let Dele Alli recover from his injury. Then we’ll take care of him. If he wants to stay, let him stay. If he wants to go, let him go. Let the conditions be good economically.”

Alli’s career reached its peak in 2018, when he was a key player for Spurs and was named for the 2018 World Cup.

He scored in the quarter-final against Sweden to help England reach the final four, their best performance at the tournament since 1966.

He picked up a hamstring injury against Fulham in Craven Cottage in 2019, which appeared to be a major problem for his long-term future in the game.

He gradually lost his place at international level as well at Tottenham under Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.

While he was given a free transfer to Everton last season, he failed to impress at Goodison Park under Frank Lampard before his summer loan move to Turkey.

There has been a lot of speculation about whether Alli will be able to return to his best form given that he is no longer in Everton’s favour.

Karl Robinson, the former MK Dons boss, claims Alli has misunderstood him and can return to his old game.

Robinson was the manager of Alli before he made the dream £5million move from Tottenham to manage in 2015.

‘At the beginning of his career he made many mistakes on and off the pitch probably, but on the pitch that one moment of magic was what made the headlines.’

‘If you look at the data he’s one of the hardest-working, highest distance-covered players playing. I think that his persona can sometimes look flippant. He can look labored, but he always had that.

‘I remember pinning him up against the wall at times. I remember him being dragged in a dressing room once by a senior player because he had this look on his face which was a smirk – I lost it with him and a senior player lost it with him as well.’

‘As the negativity spirals on top of him – has he done things off the pitch that have supported him on the pitch? I’d have to say no at stages.’
