Fans gave their reaction as Stourbridge sack their manager, see what they had to say…
Unless something has happened behind the scenes thats a truly gutless decision.

Right decision, letting 50+ goals walk out the door is absolutely unforgivable!
— Ian Moss (@Mossi28) February 24, 2020
Absolute joke!
— Mark Askins (@mark_askins) February 24, 2020
Yes well done for sacking someone less than a year into the job a point off the play offs less than a month after singing his praises.

At the start of the season I tweeted to Stourbridge fans to enjoy the ride with pee and Rich, first round of the FA cup, currently I point off the play offs, can't believe they let him go, stoubridge's loss. https://t.co/vJWrA0vNiG

Deserved longer

Not sure what’s gone on here but seems odd decision based on results – club are just outside the playoffs with games in hand and with a new team that has taken time to bed in. Was always going to be tough for whoever took over from GH but I feel for @fergie9090 and @rich2golf

It’s insulting to only discuss his passion !
Look at his trophies, his success !
If you do the same thing as you’ve always done with the same people you’ll always get the same results !

Some short memories in here, just remember he beat your messiah + the 70 goals that walked out the door in the playoffs last year with little old church and a number of players who now play for you. Should of been given the season. He will move on and do well ??

Piss take that sacking at Stourbridge, no longer promotion contenders in my eyes after that decision. Not got too bad form either. Big mistake
— Jason Lee (@ForeverAYellow) February 24, 2020
bit harsh looking at the league table, games in hand on teams above & only 2pts off playoffs
— Darren Garner (@DazzlerGarner) February 24, 2020
The last 6 games have been dreadful and the football hasn't matched the early season promise but I"m surprised that Ian Long hasn"t been given more time. Both Tividale and Alvechurch reached all-time highs under Long and both have collapsed since he left. Raised eyebrows there.

Gobsmacked! ?
— Mick Diver (@tractormick82) February 24, 2020
Poor decision should have been given more time. He’s a top manager who will prove elsewhere and at higher levels how good he is
— Robert Smart (@RobSmart99) February 24, 2020
@fergie9090 Didn’t deserve what’s happened at all pal. Thanks for in the short term you were here adding a bit of professionalism to the place. You’ll be out this level long before we are. ?
