Fans are in love with England’s new home and away kits for Euro 2024 but some have decided to criticise the cost of them.
The home kit design features a clean white look with a blue collar and blue and red trim on the arms, giving it a fresh and crisp appearance.
This new design will not only be worn by the men’s team but also by the women’s team, the para teams, and Gareth Southgate’s side during the upcoming European Championships.
With the tagline ‘a classic look’, England hopes that this new design will inspire them to achieve glory and emerge as the top nation in European football this summer.
Additionally, the away kit, showcased by Bukayo Saka, is a deep blue color and features the traditional Three Lion emblem along with a white Nike tick on the chest.
STATEMENT:
The new England shirts to be worn by our men’s, women’s and para teams from March have been revealed
England men’s, women’s and para teams have revealed the brand-new Nike kits to be worn this year – with stars from all three squads featured together for a special launch photo.
With the new home and away strips to be worn for the first time by the men’s senior and development squads this month, including the Wembley double-header against Brazil and Belgium, the Three Lions will hope to stand out on and off the pitch at UEFA EURO 2024 this summer.
The men’s version will be on sale across all men’s, women’s, and kids’ sizes from Thursday 21 March and fans wanting to register their interest across all sizes including goalkeeper shirts, can visit englandstore.com to sign up for notifications using the ‘Sign up and save’ link.
The Lionesses will also aim to look the part as they begin the defence of their EURO title when qualifying for the 2025 finals begins in April.
Sarina Wiegman’s squad will wear the kit for the first time when they welcome Sweden to Wembley for a showpiece start to their European Championship trophy defence on Friday 5 April, with versions of their kit on sale in June.
Nike have revealed special innovations for the new kits, with the teams to benefit from the latest Dri-Fit ADV innovation aimed at supporting performance by keeping players dry and cool with breathable, lightweight fabric. After athlete consultation, the women’s kit will now feature a wider chest and waist width, as well as an increase on the size of the sleeve opening.
HOME KIT
Nike describe the England 2024 home kit as a modern take on a classic white strip. The trim on the cuffs takes its cues from the training gear worn by England legends of the past, in a bold purple colour that remixes reds and blues of the past. The same colours also feature in a playful interpretation of the flag of St George on the back of the collar.
AWAY KIT
The England 2024 away kit reimagines iconic kits from the past with a modern twist, making a bold statement with an eye-catching purple – a modern mix of classic blue and red England change kits of the past. The graphic side panels feature seven different colours with a nod to English fashion, while also giving the flag of St. George on the collar a standout style
£125 for Authentic
£85 for Replica
Fans can register their interest via the England store and will be notified by email as soon as the kits are available.
