One fan turns 30p into £22,000 with an astounding 74,000/1 accumulator on 13 matches last weekend thanks to a very late winner.
Lucky punter had a great weekend after winning £22,000 with a long shot 30p bet. The winner came in the 96th minute from League Two.
We all know just how tough it is to predict 13 results correctly across the Championship, League One, and League Two in what is an incredibly unpredictable season of the EFL.
Yet, the punter didn’t hesitate to try it and reap the rewards going for something that looking very unlikely to come n.
The punter placed the outside bet with William Hill, who must’ve believed their chances of winning were minimal considering the odds of winning at 74,600/1. But, when they checked back after Saturday’s matches, they discovered they had managed to score a remarkable £22,380.
To record the result that punters dream about, seven home wins, four away victories and two draws were recorded. Some bets were safer than others, such as backing Middlesbrough to beat Swansea or Bristol Rovers to defeat League Two strugglers Forest Green. Others were more risky.
Barrow’s home match with Sutton ended in a draw. Holker Street saw only one goal on target during the match. In a battle between the League One mid-table teams, Exeter won 2-1 against Lincoln.
The real drama was at the County Ground, where Carlisle scored a winner in the 96th minute to win 2-1 against Swindon and secure the bet. Jack Armer, the visitors’ captain, took the lead in the 51st minute. However, they were beaten back by Tyrese Shade in the 80th minute.
Ryan Edmondson was the victor to bring the Cumbrians home safely and to make the punter some money.
