After reading that Sholing’s ground had been broken into and damaged, fans within the non league community and some clubs took to Twitter to condemn the vandals and offer sympathy to the FA Vase quarter finalists…
Totally mindless !!
Hope they never need a defib !!

Sometimes the mentality of these waste of space people is beyond me – sorry to see this has happened

Sadly it is. We have had attempted robberies before, but no cash is kept at the ground & they usually scarper without much damage. This was a case of trying to do as much damage as possible ?

Pointless, mindless vandalism. Sadly, it seems to be a weekly occurence across the entire country.
Looks like you got off lightly, if that's the right word compared to some other clubs destruction. Shameful.
Kudos to the seating though ?

Sorry to read this. Mindless vandalism. Hope they get arrested.charged and prosecuted. Doubt they’ll-go the prison so why don’t the courts make an order that they return to the club and apologise then set to work on at least 600 hours community service.

The huge social media reaction continued with many users having some choice words for the criminals…
What is it with defibs being vandalised, seems to happen in 50% of the places they're installed. Absolutely shocking.

Senseless vandalism!

Problem is if you find out who did it they won’t be punished enough to deter them from doing it again. There has to be a lesson teaching punishment for this type of crime to make them think twice about doing it again!!

? Hope you catch them. Soul destroying.

I can think of many other ways to describe them…
