In this article, we take a look at the FA Vase Quarter Final results and the revised Semi Final draw as we now have a better idea of it.
Flackwell Heath of the Hellenic League Premier Division travelled to the South Coast with the hope of being just a game away from a place at Wembley.
Both they and opponents United Services Portsmouth have enjoyed successful campaigns resulting in each of them progressing further in the competition than ever before.
US Portsmouth play in the Wessex League Division One, a division below the Heathens, and Flackwell were going into the game as the favourites.
And despite starting as the better side, Flackwell fell behind on the 30th minute mark with the ball falling to the hosts’ James Franklin who sent a perfectly weighted lob over the head of Aaron Watkins and into the back of the net.
Aaron Watkins managed to double US Portsmouth’s lead late in the second half, putting the back of the net, and that punished Flackwell who failed to create any kind of comeback.

Hellenic League Premier Division side Binfield are in the semi-finals of the FA Vase after a comfortable win in Derbyshire against Long Eaton United of the Midland League Premier Division.
A brace from ‘captain fantastic’ Sean Moore and a stunning Liam Ferdinand hat-trick ensured that the Moles made it through.
The big win meant the Moles didn’t have to rely on a potential penalty shoot-out, something goalkeeper Chris Grace pulled off in the previous round against Hadley. Should Binfield reach the final, they will not have played a single minute of this seasons competition at home.
IF @Binfieldfc make it to Wembley @darronanley, how about a @SirenCraftBrew Moles beer? Soundwave & Yulu go very well in the clubhouse already.

One Midland League Premier Division club that did advance through to the next stage was Walsall Wood, who won 2-1 against Leighton Town of the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division.
Substitute Javia Roberts was on hand to tuck away two penalties to book his team a deserved place in the last four of the FA Vase.
They had to come from behind however in a closely contested clash at Bell Close with Archie McClelland breaking the deadlock in the second half.
There is one other tie that needs to be played out, that is between Warrington Rylands and Hebburn Town who instead will play each other on the 8th of May.
This is because Hebburn Town will face Consett in an exciting 19/20 FA Vase Final which will be televised live on BT Sport for free on Bank Holiday Monday.
REVISED FA VASE SEMI FINAL DRAW:
Date TBC
Warrington Rylands (9) or Hebburn Town (9) v Walsall Wood (9)
8 May 2021

United Services Portsmouth (10) v Binfield (9)
