FA Trophy Third Qualifying Round draw in full

The FA Trophy Third Qualifying Round draw has been confirmed following the conclusion of this weekend’s Second Qualifying Round ties.

61 fixtures went ahead on Saturday and Sunday and with non league teams all at the same level in the English football pyramid, there were no cupsets.

However, there were plenty of goals, over 200 and that’s including those that were in nine penalty shootouts.

All matches are scheduled to be a single-match knockout format, with the winner decided by extra-time and penalties if the match is drawn. This is a change from previous seasons where replays were used.

The winners of the Third Qualifying Round matches will receive £2,450 while defeated teams will take home £625.

There are 87 new entries coming into the draw – those of Step 3 of non league – taking the total of ties being drawn out to 74 with 215 teams participating.

FA TROPHY 3QR DRAW:

Five teams automatically got a bye into the Third Qualifying Round. Those are Frickley Athletic, City of Liverpool, Yaxley and Ramsgate after their opposition sides pulled out due to the coronavirus whilst Glossop North End advanced due to Droylsden withdrawing.

Third Qualifying Round matches will take place the weekend commencing Saturday the 31st of October 2020.

Clubs will compete for a place in the First Round Proper. National League North and South sides enter at the Second Round Proper whilst the National League clubs come it at the Third Round. The Fourth, Fifth, Quarters, Semis then the Final follows.
