The FA Trophy was back in action earlier today, this time it was the First Round and once again we got to see more upsets.
Wingate & Finchley, Biggleswade Town, Hemel Hempstead Town and Dorchester Town all produced a shock result against teams higher than themselves.
The first of the four sides we look at is Wingate & Finchley who booked a place in the hat for the Second Round of the FA Trophy for the first time in their history as they beat Dulwich Hamlet. Take a look at both of their goals below…

Next up are Biggleswade Town who also scored two goals against their opponents Wealdstone. The Waders had only ever reached as far as the Second Qualifying Round before this afternoon. Just look at those celebrations…

Hemel Hempstead Town were another team to have beaten a team higher than themselves, in this case, National League side Eastleigh. They just like Biggleswade Town won the match 2-1 to advance through to the Second Round, which is one round away from the furthest the Tudors’ have ever gone in the competition.
A fantastic win, what a performance from all the boys to beat National League side @EastleighFC 2-1 today, goals from @S_Cawley and @JPProFootball ensured the Tudors progressed to the 2nd round! Pics: @MarcKeinch #queserasera pic.twitter.com/3RrBYK8YGQ

Dorchester Town also stunned as they hammered Eastbourne Borough 4-0 with help from a Tom Blair hat-trick.
