During the summer window, Arsenal spent a total of £71million, purchasing Bernd Leno (Bayer Leverkusen), Sokratis Papastathopoulos (Dortmund), Lucas Torreira (Sampdoria) and Matteo Guendouzi (Lorient).1

During the summer window, Manchester United spent a total of £82million, purchasing Diogo Dalot (Porto), Fred (Shakhtar) and Lee Grant (Stoke).
