As we now wait for the summer transfer window to arrive, we’ve taken a look at every League One club’s record transfer signings.
Majority of those have come within the last two seasons, but there are a few players from even longer ago that still remain a few club’s biggest, one of those being from as far back as 1989. There was also one player that has appeared twice from two different clubs.

Accrington Stanley’s record transfer signing is Ian Craney for a reported transfer fee of £114,000.

22) ROCHDALE (2001)
Rochdale’s record transfer signing is Paul Connor for a reported transfer fee of £150,000.

21) SHREWSBURY TOWN (2018)
Shrewsbury Town’s record transfer signing is Oliver Norburn. The Shropshire Star claim the player’s arrival topped the £170,000 they paid to get Grant Holt in 2008.
