The draw for the group stages of this season’s Europa League has finally been made this afternoon.
Arsenal and Chelsea are just two of four British sides to have qualified for the tournament. Both qualified automatically for the groups.
Rangers had to come through four rounds of Europa League qualifying, while Celtic lost in the Champions League qualifiers, both won their playoff legs last night.
Burnley could have joined them but were knocked out by Greek side Olympiakos.
48 teams make up the draw, split into 12 groups of four. Clubs from the same country can’t be drawn with each other at this stage – although a Scottish and English team could meet in the same group.
