The eighth tier non league club have been forced to respond to supporters’ backlash over 2021/22 prices, thinking it was just for season tickets. This topic was also raised on the popular NonLeagueMatters forum.
@StevenBMedia: You’ve dropped a bollock with those ticket prices. Get back around that table, committee?
@CityofLpoolFC: Shurrup Steve, buying into this hysterical, orchestrated bollocks! We charge £8 entry into a match, how can a ST be £327.
@RussWWFC: Season ticket £140 to be fair or £7 per game. Not the greatest value but not unreasonable after the year football has had.
@CityofLpoolFC: Each league sets the minimum and the maximum price allowable. Ours is towards the bottom end, some clubs are right at the top end £10.
@Nevs_EFC: The only thing I’d be outraged at is that price, is that a typo? You’re playing in the 8th tier and this is £327 on top of tunnel tolls/fuel costs your fans will already have to pay. Doesn’t seem very well thought out.
@davestanleylfc: That’s for the package with more than just a season ticket 🙄 monthly lottery and bingo, membership to the club etc
@Nevs_EFC: Ahhh sorry, must have missed those details. In that case it’s an absolute steal!
@LB2246: £327 is outrageous. Absolute robbery. It would cost you less at some football league clubs. This is why I’m not renewing my membership.
Try again mate and take it slowly……. Adult membership, Season Ticket, Monthly Lottery Draw, Weekly P-ingo game…….total £327, discounted down to £300. Is it making sense yet?

So you do now understand? Happy for you mate. We will announce the sale of stand alone Season Tickets when the time suits us.

@Igorzidane1: Kinell the fume, good job that price also involves fundraising for the club. Otherwise we might have to set a gofundme page up. Good job the members voted on this as well. Be careful of those 🐍🐍🐍 on yer travels this season purps.
@pauldaley73: Some people jibbed watching Everton and Liverpool for over 50 years….. for what….. paying £300 to play Bingo in Cheshire oaks?
@steviebarto1: Great value, with the lottos and ping, but the great value is knowing the money is going to the great community work the club does! That’s the real value of the club
@Ben_Met: It’s a fucking mortgage payment for houses over that end.. madness 😂 it’s non league.
@woodhouse281: How much is the Lottery a week to justify that price
@JamieClare1991: Wow! £327 for a season ticket at step 4 of non league football! Can watch football league for cheaper then this 😂
@jordndoyle: Hahahahahaha
@AndreDeLaGlinka: Eww… Rip off FC
@3footneck: Rent prices at the Georgie must be through the roof. Joke that.
@RodJone75746225: Good luck trying to sell then. Way too expensive for Step 4 football.
@RoryS99: Anyone backing this is fucking tapped by the way hahahahahaha, 8th tier togger uno 🤣🤣
@Jacob_1878: 327 quid to watch a load of sunday league players & listen to a load of fat old weirdos thinkin they support Napoli
@puffpuff65: Sorry how much? For a step 4 club that shouldn’t be anymore than about £125
@plus70789: I pay less than that for Champions League games at Anfield, I’m not even messing.
@FCSB86: Think these need to have a rethink on these prices mate £327 🥴🥴🥴
@HardyMCFC1: This is more than I pay for my ticket at City and City fans still moan about the prices every season.
@jfsmith98: You can get Premier League season tickets for cheaper than what City of Liverpool are charging here
@LewisRWalsh: £327 for a season ticket at a step 4 club 🥴 even worse when you take into account that it’s at a club formed as an alternative to the Premier League too
@PurpleJoe87: Whilst I can see why the other none league teams have probably found this hilarious tonight. It’s really worth pointing out the ST doesn’t even cover half the cost. Do people think fans are that thick?
@Bendall04385155: £327? For a season ticket in the 8th tier of English football?
@lepper_ben: Compare these to FC United. Who have a pay what you can season ticket.
@ham_ezz: A non league club that was founded because of rising prices for premier league tickets is now tryna charge £327 for a season ticket in the 8th tier, you actually couldn’t write it
@jamiecarney_: It’s actually cheaper to watch Latics wtf
@philsylfc: This is how much it costs to belong to 8th tier football club in Cheshire. In Merseyside you can become a member at Marine for £140. It doesn’t include bingo but we do have our own HOUSE
@_Dillon_91: City of Liverpool FC the team that was made in response to money and greed ruining football is now asking for £327 a season ticket for a glorified Sunday league team hahahaahaha
@DRACLAD: £327 for 8th tier football! Makes York City prices seem good!
@BuchiachMatt: Aghast at the superleague? Aghast at the price your charging to watch non league footie. Pretty sure that’s more then season tickets in Germany that
@therealAfB13: 327 quid 😬 obscene prices for tier 8 football. Can get one at Blackpool for a few quid more and watch championship footy.
@Greenie_34: Its not just a season ticket lads, you also get free entry into the club approved gambling!
That’s how ye do non league footy. https://t.co/gopwlqM10Y pic.twitter.com/yQb0CIz4Ar
