Dominic Calvert-Lewin causes controversy with his new fashion front cover with a huge number of people talking about it this week.
The clothes-mad footballer has covered the back pages of the papers to the cover of a hit fashion magazine to show off his latest daring look.
The England and Everton player, 24, gave zero fucks by being on the front cover of The Homme + Magazine, dressed in a white polka dot shirt, black tie and blazer, flared suit shorts, white socks and shiny black loafers.

In a football world which often encourages barriers, Calvert-Lewin isn’t scared to express himself regardless of the social media reaction.
Calvert-Lewin has told before how he loves escaping the humdrum of a footballer’s life by wearing unconventional outfits.
He told style magazine The Face: “As a footballer you’re so in a routine, and you do the same things every day.
“It’s that bit of freedom. If you want to wear a suit for no reason, why not?”
The Sun’s Bizarre editor Simon Boyle – who is also an Everton supporter – an even bigger fan of his now after his latest showing.
He wrote: “Watch out Harry Styles – you’ve got some serious competition in the daring fashionista stakes.
“Dominic seemed to echo Harry’s Gucci dresses – and David Beckham’s sarong – by wearing one of the boldest ensembles I’ve seen while posing for the cover of Arena Homme + magazine.
“Dressed head to toe in Prada, he channelled a preppy schoolgirl in culottes, blazer, hi-gloss shoes, white socks, tie and shimmering pink handbag.
“While I doubt he’ll wear it to training, I’ll admit he carries it off. Dominic is a forward-thinking player – I hope he inspires more stars to push boundaries in the beautiful game.
“And as an Everton fan, I don’t care what he wears as long as he gets us back to winning ways.”
A passion for fashion is nothing new for the Premier League star, with Calvert-Lewin having previously revealed what he spent his first pay packet from Sheffield United on at 16.
He explained: “I gave my mum a portion of the money and went and spent the rest on this coat.
“I left myself with probably £20 for the rest of the month.”
On some of the comments he has received about what he likes to wear, DCL added: “Now the tables have turned and they go, ‘Actually, looks alright that, only you could pull that off.
“It’s like a backhanded compliment.”
Twitter users gave their reaction and it’s fair to say Dominic Calvert-Lewin causes controversy with the new fashion front cover…
@hrjhehd: Do what you want, but dressing like a 14 year old school girl isn’t really breaking down gender stereotypes, it’s weird.
@GaryCorfield: Embarrassing
@1986_legend: Worrying how many men see “school girl” looking at this
@Dazmills79: He can dress how he likes, he has style, and yes does remind me of Bowie in the 70s, however I find him dressing like a school girl a way bit too strange
@AlfieJohnson7: To the people that have a problem with this, tell me what the problem is as there is nothing wrong with this
@Andy_11_: Role model in 2021 = Man dressing up as a school girl
@tjbrown___: Good on him
@JoshMcNulty3: If he was my mate I would be absolutely rinsing him for this. Horrendous
@gazzapitt10: So getting dressed up like that is fearless?? Hahaha brilliant…..
@TS050_Dan: Ridiculous, makes me sick
@Richlloyd1984: If you’re a grown man genuinely annoyed about what clothes Calvert-Lewin wears I’d seriously suggest growing fucking up
@andybagley1: While it’s not an outfit I would wear, fair play to him doing what he wants to do. Whoever made the rules to say men can’t wear a skirt?! Or pink etc etc
@MattWoodhams1: Looks like Dora the Explorer attending a funeral
@DeadManAle: Doesn’t affect my life one bit. Do what you want. Carry on.
@JHowEFC08: Couldn’t give a shit what he wears! Unless of course it’s a Liverpool top!! Good on the lad for living his life! Unsure about the white socks, though! 😁
@BaxtersSoup: We live in a world when we try encourage people to express themselves more. Yet when a footballer tries it he gets shot down at the first opportunity by some people
@davidfortnam1: Why are people proud of this nonsense
@MattJFootball: So many footballers are dull, media-trained robots who are terrified to put their true personalities out there. Calvert-Lewin is the antithesis of that. I really don’t get some of the anger at him for this. He’s got personality, he’s a fantastic player and I’m here for it. #EFC
@p_dan: Hes getting far too much hate for this. Always comes across as a genuine person an if this is what he’s about then so be it
@LiamsUTD: Looks like an Asda advert for back to school 😭
@ReissEnthusiast: grown men in these comments getting mad over some cloth
@Romevoice: This should ruffle a few feathers. He seems to know what he wants to do with his image. I find this hilarious tbh 🤣 good on him
@THUGBRUDAS: Absolute State
@HippoGriffinus: The replies here are totally embarrassing, fair play to the lad.
Amazing just how fragile masculinity really can be!
