Djibril Cisse surprises by becoming clothes model for supermarket chain Lidl, showing off fleeces, hats, socks, bags and boxers.
The 41 year old former Liverpool player, who will be remembered for winning the Champions League and FA Cup with the Reds, is now modelling the Lidl brand.
They launched their new fashion collection, and brought in Cisse to promote their new range by showing off what’s available for purchase in an Instagram video.

The former France international can be seen wearing socks, bags, and fleeces, as well as socks, and the branding colours of the supermarkets and their local clear to see.
Even though he is clearly not in his prime, he still showed his football skills while wearing Lidl brand shoes.
His fondness of fashion shows especially after swapping the pitch for the catwalk, with his social media full of clothing.

Cisse explained why he has such an affinity with Lidl, captioning the photo on social media with: “A huge thank you, never forget where mom was shopping.”
He officially became the face of their ad campaign in October, starring in TV adverts showing him shopping and buying a Sondey brand fruit cake.
Cisse had a great career on the pitch. He scored 272 goals in more than 600 matches for all clubs.
After impressing at Auxerre’s Ligue 1 side, he signed for Liverpool in 2004.
In his first season, they would win the European title. He also won a penalty against AC Milan in the shootout in the historic Champions League final.
Cisse joined another two English sides in Sunderland and QPR, then played across Europe with his last club being Panathinaikos Chicago in the fourth division.
