Dele Alli’s viral Instagram live video posted on Monday night leaves Jose Mourinho angry and will no doubt hand out a punishment to him.
It’s fair to say that the 25 year old midfielder has quite frankly had a season to forget, when it comes down to his performances as well as lack of goals and game-time.
He has started in just two Premier League game this season, but more frequently in cup competition, even showcasing signs of a potential revival in starring displays in the Europa League – scoring with a bicycle kick against Wolfsberger.
The situation puts the player’s stay at risk and even more so when looking at Alli’s online activity of late.
His latest antics it would seem points in the direction that he wants his manager Jose Mourinho to be sacked by Tottenham.
Taking to his Instagram followers, the Tottenham player held a live session, during which he was able to interact with fans via a Q&A.
It was one particular comment, however, which has got Alli going viral across Twitter.
This came when one fan, evidently of the opinion that Jose Mourinho should be axed by the North London outfit as soon as possible, posted the following:
‘Wear a black cap if you’re Jose out’
Alli, as showcased in the video below, was already sporting a black cap, but it was when he quite blatantly decided to adjust his hat when reading the comment, leading many to suggest that the midfielder was subtly hinting at his agreement with the sentiment.

Dele Alli has insisted that he is hurting after Tottenham lost to Manchester United on Sunday, as per his comments on his own Instagram.
Alli was once again left on the bench for Spurs, as they were downed 3-1 at the weekend.
But Alli insists that he was not happy with the scoreline, which again could push Jose Mourinho closer to the exit door.
“Don’t think I’m not hurting because we didn’t win yesterday because I am. Just to make that clear before people start speaking nonsense,” he said.
This comes just a few months after Mourinho revealed he held positive talks with Alli and has opened the door for the midfielder to return to the Tottenham team once he is fit again.
That was in February and since then he remains benched.
Asked what Dele needs to do to return to first-team contention, Mourinho said: “He needs to recover form his injury, he needs to be back to training and have a fresh start. Because in the last few weeks he couldn’t even train. So that’s the most important thing.
“I had a good conversation with him yesterday. We spoke around this question you asked me and we found very common ground.
“It’s an important period of the season for the team and for him also. We need him. We need a good Dele Alli and we’re just waiting for him to be back to normality and training with the team.
“It’s not just Dele [who is injured],” Mourinho added.
“It’s Dele, Kane, Gio Lo Celso. And without all three players we miss a little bit of creation and magic in the attacking areas.
“So we need him back and I made that very sure to him. Of course, a conversation doesn’t make miracles or put a player in great form without limitations in terms of fitness.
“But I believe the conversation was maybe the extra motivation he needed to be back as soon as possible and become available for the team.
“We play Europa League very soon and we’re playing a couple of Premier League matches every week. We have the FA Cup – I don’t believe he’ll be on time for that one. We have a final to play in April.
“So we need a good Dele back and I believe that when he’s physically ready, he’ll be in a good place mentally to go for it.”
Seems he only every really intended to use Alli for the cup competitions as previously stated in the article.
Whether Mourinho will be in charge of Spurs for much longer is very much up for debate, as the Daily Mail claim he will be sacked if Tottenham do fail to make the top four this season, which looks increasingly unlikely now.
