Declan Rice goal sparks ugly scenes as West Ham and Rapid Vienna fans clash, with footage going viral after the Europa League overnight.
Police were called in to separate both sets of supporters after the opener produced an angry reaction from the away end.
Trouble continued to flare up throughout the match, with Premier League side West Ham going on to cruise to an easy 2-0 win with Said Benrahma also getting on the scoresheet.

Most of the game’s drama came off the field with some uncomfortable scenes developing from the Austrians in the stands after Rice opened the scoring.
Rice looked thrilled with a rare goal from defensive midfield, but his celebrations were cut short and ruined by some chaos at the near corner flag with a group of police officers and stewards trying to prevent it from getting worse.
A small number of Rapid fans appeared to have broken over the barrier at the London Stadium, only to be contained by officials, while objects were thrown from both sides.
It is also claimed, by police who were at the game, that urine was chucked from both groups of fans.
There was even the absurdity of someone chucking a water cooler at the West Ham fans.
Things appeared to calm down rather quickly, though Rapid supporters continued to intervene in the match, throwing objects at Aaron Cresswell as he lined up to take a corner.
“We want to be a club in Europe regularly and because of that we need to behave correctly,” Moyes said. “I am not sure who started it but I was aware of it.”
That is a brilliant team goal from West Ham! 🙌
Declan Rice scores again in the Europa League, but it’s all about the control and pass from Michail Antonio… 🤤

West Ham manager David Moyes: “The performance, I wouldn’t have put it as high as some of the others we’ve had this season, but we’re still learning how to evolve at this level of football.
“We did the job, we were worthy winners, we hit the woodwork twice in the first half, but it took a really well-worked goal.”
On bottles being thrown between both groups of fans: “We want to be a club in Europe and there regularly, and we want to behave correctly.
“We don’t want that reputation, we want to be challenging and be invited into these competitions and be seen as a club who are welcomed when we travel to Europe. I don’t know how it started, I don’t know where it started.”

Kicking off between a section of Rapid Vienna fans who don’t want to leave – some of whom have made it into that corner tunnel – and police at the London Stadium. West Ham fans have long gone. @MirrorFootball pic.twitter.com/13Ahea5syA
