Curtis Woodhouse trolls Newcastle and their fans over the proposed takeover at St James’ Park this week and it’s certainly rattled a few.
The retired footballer, who is now manager of Gainsborough Trinity, took aim at the Premier League side, mocking their ‘massive club’ status.

He tweeted: “Be good for Newcastle United to get this takeover through, gives them somebody new and fresh to moan at and blame. This lot take deluded to a whole new level. A massive club in Newcastle. Absolutely nowhere else.”
The tweet attracted Over 1,400 replies, majority of them from Newcastle fans, which only amused Woodhouse as he continued the war of words.
He then said: “It’s been fun guys! Newcastle fans never let me down! Goodnight.”
Woodhouse made another dig towards the Magpies fanbase, simply tweeting this…

‘big club’ is a pointless debate at this point. Someone says ‘big club’ is purely trophies, another says it’s about fanbase, or rich list, or European history or whatever, point is people just use whatever metric to prove/disprove the point.
