Crystal Palace have decided to make cheeky swipe at Chelsea on the Blues’ new third kit which was unveiled Monday morning ahead of the new season.
It was back in March 2020 that Chelsea’s third strip was leaked by FootyHeadlines, and it resembles another Premier League club in the Eagles, fair to say it’s got a mixed reaction.
Fast forward to the 7th of September and the kit finally was unveiled, and Crystal Palace couldn’t help but take to Twitter to give their thoughts on it, as you can see in the tweet below…

Chelsea say that their 2020-21 third kit: “…combines vintage club colours, Nike sneaker heritage and a dose of 1990s nostalgia to create a fresh look for the new season.
“The kit, which Chelsea will wear for our European campaign, is part of a wider Nike collection which celebrates jersey culture and the iconic Air Max archives.
“The Blues’ new design is heavily influenced by the much-loved original Air Max 180, a shoe which was first released in 1991 and also shares the inspirations of the Chelsea kits of the era.
“The colours shine through in a third kit which takes all those influences and creates a sharp, modern football kit.
“The primary colour is ember glow, with ultramarine blue playing a strong supporting role. The blue appears on the jersey’s V-neck collar, shoulders and on vertical stripes which gradually fade away down the front of the shirt. Ember glow shorts and blue socks complete the full look.
“The 2020-21 Chelsea third kit is available on 10 September from the official online store and the Stamford Bridge Megastore.”

Really don’t like that kit, the way it fades, like a printer has run out of ink. Chelsea / Nike could have done so much better. Got to admit, this summer has seen so many more unique, bizarre and bold patterns/styles. Seen much more impressive concept kits about. Go consider them
