Concerned Wolves fan clarifies ways to show dissatisfaction at how club is run

Concerned Wolves fan Manny Singh Kang has been praised as he clarifies ways to show dissatisfaction at how the club is run.

Wolverhampton Wanderers currently sit bottom of the Premier League, losing all three of their opening Premier League games, scoring twice, conceding 8.

Criticism is aimed towards the club’s management under chairman Jeff Shi, with proven Premier League players being sold, there being a reliance on unproven “potential” signings.

Also highlighted was a four-year decline, the loss of leadership, the neglect of their stadium, families being priced out by tickets, and zero ambition, contrasting Wolves’ recruitment with rivals like Villa, Forest, and even Burnley who signed experienced Premier League players.

Manny advocates peaceful protests, to pressure Shi’s exit and potentially bring in new owners, adding that the club belongs to fans, not custodians lacking hunger. He supports the team but warns of unfair pressure on the young squad.

On the morning of Deadline Day, he tweeted: “Here we are. We sold and let go of proven PL performers, and we’ve signed players that we hope show promise to succeed in the toughest league in the world. Will we finally sign someone on the last day, that knows this league and will instantly improve us? Not holding my breath.

Later that day, he wrote: “Leadership and vision starts from the top. And we have one of the worst. This is more than just about money.

“All controlled and dictated by one man. He gets rid of anyone who stands in his way. He should’ve been marched out of the club years ago.”

With hours to go of Deadline Day, and Wolves making no more new signings, he said:

“Finished 16th
Club captain gone
Let go of the star performers
Let go of all the midfield back up
Signed some “potential” that needs lots of time to develop
Rooted to the bottom of the league
Made £13.5m profit
The road map of Mr Shi.
He should be nowhere near OUR club.

“The club is ours not theirs! And I don’t care if no one speaks to me again from the club. It’s a lifeline for fans and young children and it’s being run into the ground by those that are not interested in any of us.”

After the window closed, and in the days that followed he went on to say: “From attracting Neves/Moutinho to Brownhill telling us where to go!

“From captains like Coady/Ruben to anyone with an arm..

“From strikers like Raul/Jota/Cunha to playing PL games with Munetsi/Hwang up top

“Decline on and off the field. Stadium falling apart. GET OUT OF OUR CLUB

“I will back VP/Team and hope they can win games. This is about year in year out neglect. There’s huge pressure now on young squad. Stadium neglect, families priced out, leadership stripped away, all in decline, zero ambition and inspiration to take us forward.

“Villa: Elliott/Sancho/Lindelof
Forest: Zinchenko/Douglas Luiz/Mcatee/Hutchinson
Everton: Grealish/Dewsbury Hall
Sunderland: Xhaka/Adingra
Brentford: Outarra/Reiss Nelson/Kelleher
Leeds: Longstaff/DCL
Even Burnley: Walker/Dubravka

“Buy potential but buy those that know the PL

“Just some normal, ready to play options, some not even expensive, some signed by sides who aren’t in Europe. You always need 2 or 3 of these options and then you can supplement them with the signings with “potential”
Most clubs found a way.

“The decline has set in for 4 years now. The inspiration and ambition is down to nothing. Great staff and good leaders all gone. Stadium and squad falling behind many teams. Lots or families priced away.

“Just a big believer in inspiring, uplifting leadership from the top! Setting clear visions, bending backwards to get everyone on board and heading in the same direction. We have none of that.

“Everyone has a right to protest in a manner that doesn’t affect families/children. It will be natural thing that will happen. Last year I myself bought nothing from Wolves, it was my way. This season I like many thought maybe they realised. Now it does need more action.

“Each season is different. This squad quite clearly after the outgoings, needed experience. It needed leadership. VP passed the armband around 4 times in pre season. We have no leadership.

“So how do we display our dissatisfaction at the way our club is run. The lack of ambition and leadership, the lack of uplifting and inspiring words from the top. The flawed policy which has seen us rooted to the bottom of the table year after year now.

“We appreciate the wonderful stuff that we experienced and great times in Europe, but it’s been a clear change in direction for many years now. An appetite to just survive. Families have been priced away. We had empty seats for Man City at home. Our first game!

“Lots of good people have left the club, experienced staff and people who understood the fans. Many have privately told me about the experience behind closed doors with the man upstairs. The ticket pricing was something most didn’t want, but one man did.

“It meant families left, STH for many seasons gave up. Young children never went to the football again. It was a clear mistake because the prices were then frozen. But those people had already gone. We the fans still sing and shout and back managers and applaud players

“We give it our all. Do the custodians really do that anymore. We know new owners don’t grow on trees but it’s time to put some pressure on to make them more proactive in finding new stewards of our club. It’s not even about money anymore. It’s about appetite.

“It’s gone from the top. The hunger, the desire, the will, the mentality. How come players don’t want to buy into our project. What is our project? The fans attention will drift to the under pressure manager and players and they will carry the can. Again. How many times are we going to just get rid of managers, splash in January to keep our heads just above water. It’s not fair on these players who have come into this country and need time to develop and grow. But straight away they have to perform or else!

“The pressure comes from this flawed policy So what do we do. Boycott? But this teams needs us. I don’t think fans show that appetite to not go. If it happens, I’ll be out. I’ll stand with the fans.

“Last season I didn’t buy a thing from Wolves as a protest. This season I did, I thought they had realised and would change.

“But no.. it’s probably the worst position we’ve been in since we came up and VP will need huge amounts of luck with no injuries to battle against what’s coming.

“Wolves have some brilliant staff who work tirelessly and the ownership is not a reflection on them.

“Anyway these are my thoughts and fans have differing opinions,

“All of them matter because all of us care,

“Do you care Mr Shi 🙏🏾”

After Jeff Shi posted an update, Manny added: “He says the first 3 games don’t concern him, and it can take 10 or 15. If we perform like we have in the first 3 for 15 games. We are down 🤦🏽

“Good window”
“We got 90% of what we wanted”
“Finance wasn’t the key point in recruitment”
“Aim of getting back in Europe and win a trophy”
“We shouldn’t expect much for 10 to 15 games”

Is there any expert, pundit, fan channel, fan, fans pet, the goldfish. That agrees? 🙃”
