Concerned Sheffield United fans demand answers from their club owners after the High Court decision made earlier this week.
The Fan Advisory Board have put a list of questions to the owners, wanting clarity, with COH Sports to be wound up and the Blades still facing the threat of a 12 point deduction.
Ex-owner United World said that they’re owed £35million, with it since confirmed that COH Sports – the company set up by Sheffield United chairmen Steve Rosen and Helmy Eltoukhy to buy the club in December 2024 – placed into liquidation.
Now it is down to the EFL and the IFR on a decision to take action or not, be it a points deduction or forcing co-owner Steve Rosen to resign. More on that HERE.

The FAB said on Thursday evening: “This afternoon, the Fan Advisory Board has submitted a list of questions to the owners of Sheffield United, seeking clarity and feedback on the issues raised after yesterday’s winding up of COH Sports Bidco Ltd.
“We have received a significant amount of communication from concerned Blades. These are concerns that the FAB share and we are working hard to get more information, whilst also giving voice to the frustrations and worries shared by supporters.
“We have specifically asked questions in relation to the transfer of ownership to 1919 Partners, the financial obligations they hold, EFL involvement in these issues and a request for wider communication with supporters.
“Finally – for the avoidance of doubt, the FAB is an independent group run by fan volunteers. We are not employed by the club, working directly for the club or paid or compensated in any way for our work.
“If you would like to know more, here is FAB member @simon_christie explaining to the excellent @BA55SUFC about how the FAB works and how you can get involved.
“As soon as we have anything further to report back on the current issues, we will update everyone.

Meanwhile, @RPblades220 put out an open letter to Steven Rosen and Helmy Eltoukhy, whcih read:
“Dear Mr Rosen and Mr Eltoukhy,
“We are writing this letter not as shareholders, investors, customers or consumers, but as the people who have always been at the heart of Sheffield United Football Club: the supporters.
“We have watched, in disbelief, as you have taken a club that had arguably just enjoyed the most successful decade in its history and, in the space of less than two years, managed to set it back by a decade.
“When you arrived, you inherited a football club with momentum, identity and a connection with its supporters that had been painstakingly built over many years. What you have done with that inheritance has been nothing short of astonishing.
“From the outset, you have demonstrated little apparent understanding of, or appreciation for, what Sheffield United actually is.
“This is not simply a business operating from Bramall Lane.
“It is not an asset on a balance sheet.
“It is not an investment vehicle.
“It is Sheffield United Football Club.
“It is part of the fabric of this city. It is families travelling to Bramall Lane together for generations. It is fathers taking their sons and daughters to their first game. It is grandparents passing down a love of the club to their grandchildren.
“It is friendships, memories, heartbreak, joy and belonging.
“For thousands of people, Sheffield United isn’t a hobby.
“It is their life.
“And yet, from where we are sitting, it increasingly feels as though to you it is simply another investment
“Your actions have done little to convince us otherwise.
“You sacked our most successful manager, despite what he had achieved with this club, and replaced him with a data-driven appointment that appeared to prioritise algorithms over understanding the football club and the environment in which it operates.
“Then came the transfer window. An utterly disastrous, data-inspired recruitment strategy saw millions of pounds spent on players who were, for the most part, unproven, unknown and demonstrably below the standard required to take this club forward.
“And now? The majority have already left. Most made little or no meaningful contribution while at Bramall Lane.
“None have generated the kind of return that could possibly justify the money invested in them. In many cases, the club has taken a financial hit. Millions of pounds that could have been invested sensibly in the football club have effectively been squandered.
We do not know the full financial story behind the scenes and we will not pretend that we do. But from the outside, the picture is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.
“There appears to be little money left. There appears to be little prospect of meaningful investment in the squad.
“There appears to be no appetite, or perhaps no ability, to make the signings required to arrest the club’s decline.
“And there remains the unresolved money owed to our former owner, which you appear to have no intention of paying.
“Perhaps there is a perfectly reasonable explanation.
“If there is, then we would suggest that the time has come to actually tell us. Because that brings us to perhaps the most insulting aspect of your ownership.
“Neither of you has had the decency to properly face the supporters of Sheffield United since the day you walked through the door. Instead, we have been fed corporate statements, carefully worded PR messages and platitudes.
“Where are you? Where is the accountability? Where is the explanation? Where is the acknowledgement of the damage being done to the football club? Where is the respect for the people who have supported Sheffield United through everything?
“You cannot expect to own a football club like Sheffield United while remaining detached from the people who make that football club what it is.
“If you genuinely care about its future, then come and tell us the truth. If you have a plan, tell us what it is. If there is money available to invest, tell us where it is. If there isn’t, tell us why.
“And if you no longer have the financial capability or appetite to take Sheffield United forward, then have the honesty to admit it.
“There is another suggestion doing the rounds: that the reason money owed to the former owner remains unpaid is because you believe the club is no longer worth what you agreed to pay for it. If that is true, then perhaps you should ask yourselves why.
“Because if you bought a Ferrari for £500,000, proceeded to rip out its engine, replace it with the engine from a Peugeot 206, removed its wheels and replaced them with children’s roller skates, and then told the previous owner you weren’t paying the agreed price because the Ferrari was no longer worth £500,000… would you expect them to give you a discount? Of course not
“You bought the club in a position of strength. You inherited the foundations of a successful football operation. You then made the decisions that have systematically dismantled much of what was there. You cannot destroy the value of an asset and then use the destruction you caused as justification for not paying for it. That is not the supporters’ fault. It is not Sheffield United’s fault. It is yours.”
“We have seen enough. We have watched enough. We have listened to enough corporate spin.
“And we have had enough of being treated as though our concerns are an inconvenience. We don’t expect perfection. We don’t expect every signing to work. We don’t expect every managerial appointment to succeed.
“Football doesn’t work like that. What we do expect is competence. Investment, communication, accountability and, above all, respect. You have shown us very little of any of those things.
“SO WE ARE ASKING YOU, PLAINLY AND WITHOUT AMBIGUITY: IT IS TIME TO GO.
“If you cannot fund this football club, if you cannot take it forward and if you have no intention of engaging meaningfully with its supporters, then sell it. Sell Sheffield United to somebody who understands what they are buying.
“Sell it to somebody who understands that Bramall Lane is more than four stands and a pitch. Sell it to somebody who understands the history. Sell it to somebody who understands the city. Sell it to somebody who understands that the badge on the shirt represents generations of people who have given their time, money, emotions and lives to this club.
“Most importantly, sell it to somebody who actually cares.
“Because Sheffield United deserves better. The supporters deserve better. And this football club deserves better than being slowly dismantled while its owners remain nowhere to be seen.
“WE ARE SHEFFIELD UNITED YOU ARE MERELY ITS CUSTODIANS AND IF YOU CANNOT BE THE CUSTODIANS THIS CLUB NEEDS, THEN DO THE RIGHT THING. LEAVE.”
