Supporters have given their reaction to Chorley Council asking fans not to come to their town, only to do a complete u-turn and say they are and their message to supporters could have been worded better…
I see both sides. There’s stereotyping on both sides. Not everyone in a shirt is a yob but equally not everyone who cares about their town is a NIMBY. Fact is large groups can and mostly do behave however to suggest they never do anything wrong is a bit naive. Oh well

As a resident of chorley and also a business proprietor in the town centre, I have no problem with Football fans coming into the town centre. There is very little bother and the groups of fans are generally high spirited and willing to interact with anyone who wishes to do so.
