Chelsea still looking for final-minute transfers in the Summer window

Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea aren’t done yet, and they are still eagerly looking at the transfer market to bring in their last-minute signings to ensure they got their combination right.

After Chelsea’s devastating 3-0 loss to Leeds in match week 2, there’s speculation around Chelsea tickets’ holders on who will be the last pieces of the summer signings.

The Leeds defeat was a hard pill to swallow, and it followed the 2-2 draw against Tottenham, where things heated up between Antonio Conte and Tuchel at the full-time whistle.

With the new owners led by Todd Boehly, several reports on potential signings in the final week signings for Chelsea are circulating, pleasing everyone who purchases Chelsea Tickets.

Here’s what we know!

Anthony Gordon – Everton

It is reported that Chelsea is negotiating internally to go back to Everton with an offer of 50 million pounds for Anthony Gordon after their first move was turned down.

The 21-year-old England national was a highly sought-after signing, and with Everton manager Frank Lampard adding that his future at Everton remains uncertain, there’s a single ray of hope for the lads from Stamford Bridge.

Gordon currently has three years to go in his central contract, where he earns $10,000 weekly, and with a fresh offer from Chelsea, Everton can be compensated well for the transfer.

According to media reports, Gordon has been on Tuchel’s radar for quite some time, with his versatility to play in multiple positions. It is reported that Gordon’s ability to be right wing-back and also right winger alongside a nine is a plus for the club.

At a time when Reece James becomes the only right-wing back Chelsea has in their first squad, the signing of Gordon can come as a welcome gift for the Blues as they prepare for the long season.

Barca issues to benefit Chelsea

As Barcelona again works on its finances, a £17 million deficit needs immediate attention, and Chelsea can benefit from this situation.

The club has already spent nearly £180 million this summer, but looking at how they played against Leeds, it was evident that they need reinforcements in the midfield and at the front. Despite Tuchel’s reluctance to shut down the transfers, he understands that he needs these signings to go for a Premier League title.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is who Chelsea is targeting for the #9 position after Havertz has continuously been a letdown throughout the last season. Aubmeyang, the ex-Arsenal captain who found his luck at Barcelona in last year’s second half of the season, has everything that a standard #9 needs.

With Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner leaving the club in the summer, it is obvious that Chelsea needed a striker, and Aubameyang seems to fit in perfectly. The Arsenal FA Cup winner doesn’t need any introduction to Premier League football, and if Chelsea wants to make their title aspirations clear, he seems to be the missing piece in the puzzle.

According to sources, Marcos Alonso has also been added to the deal, but Barca is adamant for straight-up cash with a pressing £17m Jules Koundé issue. The Frenchman is the only signing made by the Blaugrana that hasn’t been registered for the new La Liga season with their liquidity issues. It is understood that Laporta needs to raise this £17m to ease this worry.

If the money isn’t generated in time, Koundé might have to leave the club at the end of the month.

With Kounde’s signing in the wonders, Barca is willing to negotiate a way for Aubameyang. Of course, if the Blues cannot arrive at a fee that works for both parties, they will have to look elsewhere. That would lead to Frenkie de Jong, also at the Catalan club.

The midfielder isn’t having the best of runs with the Spanish side and is desperately looking for a way out. He earlier refused a move to Manchester United but can be willing to sign up for Chelsea.

But midfielders are not the side after. The side already has exceptional talents with N’Golo Kante, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Conor Gallagher and Mateo Kovacic.

A double deal for Aubamehang and De Jong would increase the spending this summer to the £276m mark. This is the final price after the Wesley Fofana deal that could add between 80-85 million pounds.

Harry Maguire to Chelsea?

The other rumoured transfer news surrounds Manchester United captain Harry Maguire. This put all Chelsea fans who purchased Chelsea tickets for the upcoming games in a little bit of worry. But it is understood that the conversation for Maguire came up after United enquired about Christian Pulisic.

The swap deal was then proposed as a solution that would work for the two clubs.

However, United has mentioned that Maguire is not for sale.

Wesley Fofana

Leicester City is now prepared to let go of Wesley Fofana, and Chelsea can sign the France U21 international for under 80 million pounds. Earlier, it said that Fofana would not be sold, but things have changed as we reach the September 1st deadline.

Leicester’s stance ‘softened’ after a series of meetings between Brendan Rodgers and Fofana. The 21-year-old has insisted that he wants to continue playing his football in a different blue shirt up in London.

Fofana has impressed at a very young age and would be an ideal signing for Chelsea at the back. While the price tag might be slightly on the plus side, he looks like a prospect for the years to come with his age.

Despite the hype train fading last week when the Blues played Leeds, the hype for Chelsea tickets remains the same. One loss does not define a season, and that’s precisely why Chelsea is looking to bounce back strong in the next few fixtures.
