Championship: Title winners, playoffs and relegations confirmed on final day of 2024/25 season

The Championship title winners, playoffs and relegations are all that can be confirmed on the final day of the 2024/25 season.

Coming into the afternoon, we knew that Leeds United and Burnley were battling for the title. Both are level on points (97) going into the final day of the season, with Leeds ahead on goal difference.

Sheffield United, Sunderland and two other teams (two from Bristol City, Coventry, Millwall, Blackburn and Middlesbrough) will contest the play-offs for the next promotion places.

The bottom three teams will be relegated to League One. Cardiff were already relegated, confirmed on the 26th of April by a goalless draw with West Brom, and Plymouth look all but down because of their goal difference. The final spot is between Hull, Luton, Preston, Derby and Stoke.
