Celtic keeper Joe Hart gets his first red card of his career after clattering into Livingston player Mohammed Sangare on Saturday afternoon.
Hart was shown a straight red after he raced off his line and wiped out Sangare, who got to the high ball over the top first, right on the edge of the box.
VAR confirmed Sangare was just onside there, so the red card is confirmed, with Forrest being sacrificed for backup goalkeeper Bain.
๐ฅ “Hart commits and doesn’t get there… It’s the correct decision!”

Leanne Crichton (Former Scotland international on BBC Sportsound): “Sangare has every right to go for the ball. His foot is not any higher than he needs to go for the ball. I would be surprised if the VAR team overturn this.”
Kheredine Idessane (for BBC Sport Scotland: “That’s two yellow cards and a red for Celtic players before even half an hour has been played. Alistair Johnston and Liam Scales are now walking a tightrope for the rest of the match. Joe Hart has long since walked to the dressing room after being ordered off and replaced with Scott Bain. Should be a fascinating hour from here.
“Since Celtic went down to 10 men, there’s little sign that they’re enjoying less possession or space.
“Livingston will have to find a way to make their superior numbers pay if they want to take anything here.”
Sky Sports’ Chris Sutton: “It’s a good run from Sangare, but it’s the right decision for the red card. Scales tries to step up, I do not understand why he doesn’t go with the runner.
“Hart has to get there first, and he doesn’t.”
Sky Sports’ Ian Crocker: “That red card for Joe Hart was the first of his career – in his 737th match.”
Ex-Scotland striker James McFadden on Sky Sports Football: “Hart’s red could’ve been given for the challenge or denying a goalscoring opportunity.
“Scales tries to play offside, he can see the back of Lagerbielke, and lets him know he can’t step up.
“There’s no pressure on the ball, he has to drop and without doubt match the run. He can see both players, his own player and the Livingston player.
“I don’t think Hart has to come out, it’s two poor decisions which have cost Celtic dearly.”
It was Reo Hatate’s spot kick which separated the sides come half time.
It came on the 13th minute, after De Lucas hacked Hatate down and with a yellow for the Livi defender.
Hatate got lucky from the spot as his poorly struck effort just about managed to go under George’s body, despite the keeper going the right away.
Celtic made it 2-0 just after the break, with Kyogo sent free down the right and sent in a cross, with Maeda failing to score from close range, George parried the ball as far as O’Riley, who couldn’t miss from virtually on the line.
Then on the 95th minute, Maeda made it 3-0, and what a strike it was on the edge of the box as the Japan forward curled a beauty into the top lefthand corner with George rooted to his line.
๐ฃ๏ธ “Shamal George should save that!”
