Cardiff players were on the wind up as Plymouth get beat 5-0 and also see Ibrahim Cissoko sent off during the Championship fixture.
The Bluebirds went ahead on 16 minutes, Rubin Colwill set it for Alex Robertson to curl home excellently from the edge of the box.
It was 2-0 on 23 minutes, the away side failed to clear, Rubin Colwill controlled it, scoring with his left footed.
Then with the closing stages of the first half approaching, Cissoko was fouled by Tanner, Ng kicked the ball at him before the referee blew his whistle.
Cissoko got up and grabbed Ng, pushed him to the ground. Head loss moment. Andrew Kitchen gave him his marching orders and also booked Ng.

Cardiff caretaker Omer Riza:
“We had Aaron Ramsey upstairs today casting an eye down to give us some information and it all came together well today.
“I said to Aaron yesterday that I’d like him to go up there, cast his eye over the game and if he had anything of importance to come down.
“To be fair, when he came down and mentioned a couple of things, it was what was in our minds anyway which is nice, so we’re all on the same page.
“It’s important when you’ve got players like Rallsy (Joe Ralls) and Aaron who are experienced and aren’t playing, you have to try and use them in a different way and we did that today.”
“I’m happy for the players and the fans. Today it came together, we went 2-0 up before the red card and we looked dominant.
“We had a mixed bag of who scored, players that came on were effective. I’m just really happy.”
Plymouth’s Wayne Rooney (per Sky Sports): “It’s difficult to put into words. I thought we started the game OK, we had decent control and should be 1-0 up, Michael had a great chance.
“Beyond that we got really sloppy, we gave the ball away a lot, we didn’t win tackles or do the basics right.
“In this league, if you don’t do that right, you have difficult days like today.
“It’s difficult watching it from the stands, you want to be there at the side of the pitch trying to help the team.
“Today we have to give Cardiff a lot of credit, they deserved to win the game, they were the better team.”
Here’s how fans reacted with Cardiff players on the wind up as Plymouth get beat 5-0 and see Cissoko sent off…
@VinceRennie: Stop the holidays during international break and get these lot working!!!
@pauld2501: Embarrassing ,shocking ,no clue ,feel for the travelling fans to watch that.
@mickeyjbrown: What absolute hopeless crap today 😫
@richieperkins8: Pathetic performance!
@StevieWotsa: Wednesday and today agaisnt Cardiff but like the other fixtures when we turned up to play we done ok. Our goal diffrence will take a hit grand scheme of things its still only 3 points. Bad day draw a line move on.
@VinceRennie: Pathetic! This result was coming even before the red card. Not one good performance on that pitch from us. Not a single positive to take. A shambles away from home once again. Cardiff won’t have an easier game this season
@Slug_95: Cissoko devaluing himself so Argyle can afford him in Jan, what a guy
@brightonpilgrim: Embarrassing! Absolutely embarrassing!
@pafcjamess: When can I expect my refund?
@gkbluegreen2015: What a fall out after starting so well, once Cardiff scored , that was it , we went pieces. As for Cissoko getting send off, petulant and totally let the team down.
@matty_robinson: Glad to see you put the international break to good use lads!
@argylebird: Absolute dire!!!
@Scudda85: Absolutely shocking performance. The players owe those 3,200 travelling Argyle fans big time!!!
@jackolesliepafc: You’ve got over 3000 fans in the away end. 2-0 down. And you put your hands around a players neck. This side really is the master of self imploding. Cissoko you’re an idiot
@olpafc_: Cissoko that’s an absolute embarrassment
@vbtspafc: Mumba isn’t a left back away from home, we can’t play Cissoko, Whittaker AND Al Hajj away. Gray has to play some part Wednesday. Where is the passion and fight we see at home park? Apart from Edwards it’s non existent #pafc
@Zach479129001: I’ve never left a fucking game early until now! Fuck Argyle! Fuck Cissoko, fuck the bunch of cunts who don’t wanna attempt to work hard for 3200 fans and fuck Morgan Whittaker! That is the worst performance I have ever fucking seen! #pafc #wereshit
@thebenprice: That is a superb headloss from Cissoko, wins a foul but gets him self sent off
@Mikeyccfc: Outstanding performance. Riza deserves massive credit. Well done lads. Same again Tuesday 💙
@CantonEndSR: Superb from (almost) start to finish today. Feels like a weight has been lifted off the players and it is showing. They look so much happier. 25 shots and 11 on target. Maybe some of us were wrong to think Riza wasn’t ready or the man to take us forward? 🤷🏽♂️
@CCFCWelshRossy: Outstanding performance from everyone today. Riza seems to have the boys singing from the same hyme sheet. 7 points out of 12 for Riza bluebirds on the up. So happy for Willock and El ghazi to get off the mark for us today and for Robinson. Confidence booster.
