The Second Round draw of this season’s Carabao Cup was made this evening from the Peninsula Stadiu after Leeds United beat Salford City 3-0.
The draw for this competition has in recent seasons been controversial, many a time they did have done it abroad, but they have also made blunders displaying the outcome of the draw and also messed fans around by delaying it for just under two hours in October 2017.
13 Premier League clubs plus Cardiff City and Fulham join with the winners from this evening’s matches will feature in the Round Two draw which will see teams drawn in Northern and Southern sections.

Resulting ties for Round Two will be played week commencing 26 August with selected matches available live on Sky Sports.
