A Bristol City fan fumes at getting ejected by stewards after being mistaken as a Leeds fan during Friday night’s Championship fixture.
Video surfaced showing fans booing and making their feelings known as a supporter got kicked out, with some claiming he was a Leeds fan, while others said he was drunk.
Georgia Longx published her own post on the matter: “Imagine getting escorted out of a city game for being stood up then your own city fans calling you Leeds fans… when your kids dressed in all city .. unbelievable sorry but I thought city were meant to support there own there was no support…”

The game itself saw Willy Gnonto scored what ended up being the only goal as Daniel Farke’s side move up to second ahead of rest of the weekend’s matches.
His strike came in the 47th minute, becoming just the 20-year-old’s second league goal of the season, proved decisive at Ashton Gate, and took Leeds into the automatic-promotion places for the first time this season.

Leeds’ Daniel Farke:
“A win is a win and three points is always priceless, especially in a difficult away game during a busy schedule. It was a really good performance today.
“It was nearly a perfect away game and more or less the only thing I can criticise is that on the road you have to score the goals.
“One thing is for sure if we want to celebrate at the end of the season we have to be more effective when creating big chances.”
Bristol City’s Liam Manning:
“You have to give Leeds credit for their level of performance. They’re the best side we’ve played so far. You want to then find out what level you’re capable of, and the disappointing thing is we’re capable of a much higher level.
“The mad bit is we still had one or two terrific moments where we could have nicked something. But conceding so early on at the start of the second half and to such a poor goal made it difficult.”
Social media users reacted on a Bristol City fan fumes at getting ejected by stewards after being mistaken as a Leeds fan…
Mark Court: Jesus seen this that’s shit mate!! West Ham at home allowed to stand up for 90mins cos it was packed but next game sit down cos we ain’t 🤷♂️🤷♂️
Tom Dom Hill: Saw this mate, completely out of order. The stewards didn’t exactly help either
Jonathan Brand: Was that you that got escorted out by the stewards ? Wondered what the fuss was about ? Think everyone thought you were Leeds Fans but I saw two kids dressed in city gear so I was confused also ? So sorry the stewards were shot and ruined your night, hope it doesn’t dampen the kids enthusiasm for watching City !!!
Danny Book: This raises the question, So what if there were Leeds fans in there? This is not a crime and does not deserve an assault. What is the mentality of someone that wants to attack another person for supporting an opposing team? I remember now why football fans used to be kept in cages.
