Bolton to potentially face another points deduction

After finding out the latest postponement, the manager departure and potential point deduction, fans vented their frustration over on Twitter…

@stuw1985: Not just because it’s Bolton but Doncaster fans coming over on trains , taking time of work already buying tickets this game should go ahead , if your 18-19 years of age and can’t play 2 games in a week I think there in the wrong game and should find a new career

@shawnwhitehead_: Absolute bull s**t, I’m sorry but if you don’t have a team to play the you forfeit a match, senior players…are all 3 of them injured. Bolton have been playing with a youth team last 3 games. They have taken a 5 nil loss and now this. Wouldn’t have been postponed if they won.

@matty27jw: “With so many senior players injured or unavailable” what all 3 of the senior players

@moore241128: Thought the @EFL gave @OfficialBWFC the go-ahead to start the season confident that they could fulfil ALL their fixtures. You cannot and should not pick and choose which fixtures you want to complete and which ones you want to cancel.

@SlaterOliver: Why has it taken a 5-0 defeat at Tranmere to notice?

@marchu1987: Remember when I was younger and wanderers having players like Jay Jay Okocha, Ivan Campo, Kevin Nolan and being Runners up in the Carling Cup. Sad to see the club in this state. They deserve better. From an @AVFCOfficial fan

@Adrianjm64: This makes the @EFL look incompetent. Bolton started a season and now cannot compete because they do not have a team capable of playing 2 games in 1 week. Why were bury cancelled, but bolton were not? – not like the @EFL did not know both clubs have a lack of a first team squad
