Bolton given 72 hours to save the club from being expelled from the EFL

After reading what the EFL had to say in their statement about Bolton Wanderers, fans took to give their angry reaction…

@AvfMr: The state of clubs finances and ownerships in the lower leagues is disgraceful, what happened to all this about ”fit and proper tests” for owners buying clubs???

@NotJosButtler: All pointless when you give them extension after extension to get their act together. Until you have the bottle to throw your member clubs out of your competitions, clubs will get into such messes as they’ll get bailed out anyway

@DrillingCobbler: It’s fair to say that league1 is a farce, with two teams in it that would struggle in a division 4 steps below. The integrity of the league is at stake, Bolton picking and choosing when to unleash their kids is crazy and a solution must be found very quickly. Very sad.

ValleyFloydFred: I actually think this is the right thing to do – needs to put pressure on the parties to fucking move.

@StebsD: Open the doors to our club for crooked Mr Anderson & his very odd son. Allow them to take what they want and ruin livelihoods and local businesses. Then threaten the same club with expulsion with no sense of responsibility. You deemed these scumbags ‘fit and proper’. Shambolic

@RWphotobolton: ? ? ? Well done @EFL, did it take you long to write that? Maybe try doing something about the problems in football, rather than issuing statements and ultimatums. We’ve just been hammered 5-0 with kids playing, but apparently Ken Anderson was fit and proper. Thanks. #bwfc
