Birmingham City amuse their fans with their new signing video announcement for Scott Wright on transfer deadline day.
The league One outfit and their fans hit back at the doubters with their latest addition Scott Wright cheekily taking a dig at the ‘We’re in for a SHOCK’ line aimed at the Blues.
Birmingham currently sit 5th in the third tier, their first season at this level in 29 years, with 7 points from 3 games, winning 2, drawing 1 and are so far unbeaten.
They already have a squad worthy of winning promotion back to the Championship at the first attempt, but League One is getting a tougher.

CLUB STATEMENT:
The 27-year-old winger joins from Rangers for an undisclosed fee and has agreed terms on a three-year contract subject to league, FA and international clearance.
His transfer to St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park concludes more than three seasons at Ibrox where he helped deliver a 55th Scottish Premiership title in 2021.
The following year, he started their UEFA Europa League Final against Eintracht Frankfurt and three days later, was a goalscorer as the Gers lifted the Scottish Cup.
Speaking to BluesTV at the Birmingham City Elite Performance and Innovation Centre, Wright could not disguise his excitement at completing his move to Chris Davies’ side.
“I am absolutely delighted. It all happened very fast, but I am delighted to be here and excited to get going.
“Everybody from the outside can see this club and where it wants to go, and I am very grateful to be a part of that and on the journey.”
Wright started his professional career by amassing 79 appearances for his hometown club, Aberdeen, between 2014 and 2021, whilst also playing on 13 occasions for Dundee during a loan spell away from Pittodrie.
Since joining Rangers, he has featured more than 30 times in each of his full campaigns for the Light Blues, scoring 12 goals and recording seven assists.
The Scotsman has also represented his country as a youth international up to Under-21s level, and was a Toulon Tournament bronze medallist in 2017.

And it seems Birmingham are in for more additions, wanting to get Jay Stansfield done by the end of the day.
