Birmingham are eager to change the balance of power in the Midlands
No one would have predicted that Villa would be in the title conversation, but the fact that they are is testament to the remarkable job Emery has done at the club.
Villa will undoubtedly be keen to keep pace at the top end of the table in 2026, although they may need to bring in reinforcements to sustain their improbable title challenge.
Arsenal and Manchester City are the primary title contenders. Villa will keep them on their toes for as long as they can, but winning the title may be too much to ask.
