BBC reveal the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round match they will stream

The BBC have chosen to reveal the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round match they will stream, coming days after the draw was made.

This will be the fifth game that they have televised for the 2020/21 season of the tournament having already done so for every stage since the Extra Preliminary Round earlier this summer.

Their most recent game was North West Counties League Premier Division side Warrington Rylands who lost 1-0 against York City from the National League North, who missed out on promotion to the top tier of non league football via the playoffs.

Prior to that it was Essex Senior League side Hashtag United causing an upset against Soham Town Rangers from the Isthmian League North Division via a penalty shootout.

Now, the BBC reveal that the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round match they will stream is Wessex League Premier Division outfit Christchurch against three tiers below National League South side Dulwich Hamlet.

The latter club entered in the Second Qualifying Round, Dulwich winning 3-1 on penalties following a 2-2 draw against Corinthian Casuals.

Christchurch pulled off a 1-1 draw in normal time against Gloucester City, before winning 6-5 on penalties.

They along with Southern Counties East League Premier Division side Sheppey United, Southern Counties East League Premier Division outfit Chatham Town, North West Counties League Premier Division club Skelmersdale United and North West Counties League Premier Division team Longridge Town caused the biggest upsets, beating teams two levels about themselves.

There are 40 ties, with clubs split into five regions, and they will be held on the weekend commencing Saturday the 13th of October.

Winning clubs at this stage of the competition pick up £5,625 from the prize fund with losing clubs also collecting £1,875.
