It’s that time of year again, the BBC announce the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round match they will televise, and it should be a cracker.
The early rounds of the FA Cup qualifiers have been streamed on the BBC since 2017, which has not only put non league clubs on the map, but also earned them a welcome financial boost for being on the telly.
A game from every stage is be live-streamed across BBC Sport’s digital platforms, allowing audiences to watch the game live on PC, mobile or connected TV. Matches will also be available live and on-demand on BBC iPlayer.
Grimsby Town’s Emirates FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round tie at Bromsgrove Sporting will be broadcast LIVE by the BBC.
The tie will be available on the BBC’s Red Button, BBC iPlayer, BBC Sport website and app and will now kick off at 12:30pm on Saturday 16 October.
The Mariners have been allocated 1,000 tickets for the fixture which will be available from midday on Friday.
Sporting play two leagues below Grimsby and have won three matches without conceding to reach this stage.
Grimsby, who were playing League Two football last season, are playing their first tie in this season’s competition.
The winners will play in the first round proper which will take place between 5-8 November.
Sporting play in the Southern League Premier Division Central and have beaten Loughborough University 2-0, Worksop Town 6-0 and Welwyn Garden City 1-0 in this season’s FA Cup.
Grimsby, relegated from the fourth tier last season, reached the FA Cup third round as recently as 2018-19 before losing 1-0 at Crystal Palace.
They are two points clear at the top of the National League after 10 games.
