Away Attendances at the Weekend – 6th December 2021

We have taken a look at all of the Away Attendances at the Weekend and listed which matches saw the biggest travelling support.

It was a busy few days with Football League and non league sides in action, lots of away supporters attending fixtures up and down the country.

Fans are being welcomed back to grounds without restrictions for the first time since March 2020; to stand or sit in their regular spot, put on their lucky shirts or scarves and meet again as friends in cafes and pubs.

There will of course be mixed emotions, especially as we continue to live in what is a very different world now due to the pandemic, and some fans will be returning or travelling without old friends, without family members, without trusty companions.

The return of fans at EFL stadiums up and down the country has been a welcome sight this season.

However, the threat of Coronavirus remains, so match-attending supporters are encouraged to follow a simple set of rules, outlined by the UK’s Deputy Chief Medical Officer Professor Jonathan Van-Tam (also a Boston United supporter), to help stop the spread of the virus.

In a recorded video, above, he urges fans to get two doses of the vaccine, stay at home if they are showing any Coronavirus symptoms and advises early arrival at stadiums, as well washing and sanitising hands regularly.
