17. Preston
Preston North End had an average away attendance of 1,223, with the club finishing 13th place in the 2021/22 Championship league table, picking up 64 points from 46 games.

The average away attendance for Preston North End for the 2019/20 season was 1,467. They had 1,494 for the 2018/19 season.
16. Cardiff
Cardiff City had an average away attendance of 1,247, with the club finishing 18th place in the 2021/22 Championship league table, picking up 53 points from 46 games.

Stoke City had an average away attendance of 1,432, with the club finishing 14th place in the 2021/22 Championship league table, picking up 62 points from 46 games.

The average away attendance for Stoke City for the 2019/20 season was 1,464. They had 1,838 for the 2018/19 season.
