Each club’s travelling support have racked up the miles following their side up and down the country, some taking advantage of the shorter away days, others opting to fill up their cars with petrol for the more lengthy journeys, including some gruelling midweek fixtures and the busy festive period. Not to mention Sky causing havoc for many in some ways over their picks and TV times.
Here’s a list, ranking those with the smallest average away support, to the biggest, some are predictable, others are more surprising: –
24. Peterborough
Peterborough United had an average away attendance of 792, with the club finishing 22nd place in the 2021/22 EFL Championship league table, picking up 37 points from 46 games.

23. Barnsley
